This guy gets 25 years while the judge who
signed 1700 bogus applications get 4 years?

The judge took a plea deal and cooperated with the prosecutors. The shrink went to trial and was convicted. The POS lawyer also took a plea deal, then cut off his ankle monitor before his sentencing hearing and is now on the lam.

It’s like the Enron case. The former president who wasn’t even working at the company then gets 38 years or so but the CFO who masterminded the scheme and who named all the shell companies after his family members - Andy Fastow - he gets a couple of years in a rehab because he has an alleged valium addiction. His wife also got a year or two.

The Fastow family was apparently very well wired with the judicial system in Houston. It pays to get to the DA’s office first.
