Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is still opposed to the latest ObamaCare repeal legislation despite the changes that have been made to the bill, according to a Cruz aide.
Cruz's position further endangers the Republican ObamaCare repeal effort, which appears to be on the brink of failure.
The Texan is the third senator to publicly oppose the bill, sponsored by Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Bill Cassidy (R-La.). Senate Republicans can only lose two votes and still pass the bill; Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.) are already opposed.
Cruz on Sunday said he wants to get to "yes," but is not there yet.
"Right now they don't have my vote, and I don't think they have [Sen.] Mike Lee's [R-Utah] either," Cruz said.
On Monday, a Cruz aide said the senator's position hasn't changed.
The updated version of the repeal bill, released publicly Monday morning, includes more conservative regulatory policies designed to win over key holdouts.

BECAUSE ITS NOT A *REPEAL* BILL
ObamaCare forever. Thanks Republicans, you sure are useless.
If Cruz wants to live under Marxist healthcare he can go back to Canada.
Thanks for saving Obamacare.
There is no repeal, and there’s not much replace.
It would still be the ACA, but amended.
It’s politics.
Obamacare is like a bus headed full speed for a nice, thick concrete wall. The passenger is the US, and the driver is 100 guys we call the senate. Before they can apply the brakes they must decide on a strategy for how to do it. No matter what they com up with, it gore’s enough oxes to keep it from being approved.
This is what people need to understand:
They will NEVER come to agreement on how to apply the brakes!
But worry not, the concrete wall will stop the bus. And then we can pick up the pieces and work on what to do with whatever is left.
I see this playing out no other way.
Senate changing hands in ‘18?
In 2015.
It should surprise nobody that 0bunghole vetoed the bill.
Now, in 2017, Bitch McTurtle and Putz Ryno can't managed even to bring a repeal bill to the floor. Why is that. Have they forgotten that there's a ready-made bill that they could reintroduce? Are they stupid? Cowards? Poltroons? Liars? Swampocrats? All of these things?
Our so-called ‘conservatives’ are worse than useless. The Swamp backstabs in the name of Uniparty ‘liberalism;’ the ‘conservatives’ backstab in the name of self-righteousness.
Stalling for time..running out the clock?
endangers the Republican ObamaCare repeal effort,

I’m not a Cruz fan, but there is no Republican Obamacare repeal effort.
There is a bill to amend the ACA.
Even if it passed, we would still have the ACA.
Ted needs to get his head out of cuckold porn, and start working for the American people.
It is not a repeal bill. The bill seems to only “save” Obamacare itself, not restrain it.
And, yet, so many do not care it does not actually repeal Obamacare. They just want a "victory" even if it accomplishes nothing but making them feel good.
If Cruz wanted to save Obamacare he would vote for the bill.
Cruz opposes Linda’s bill?
I’m Shocked!
And BTW, Rand Paul isn't far behind, disgusted with him too, he's turning into his old man, man did I blow it thinking he was VP material.
The art of getting something done is a big deal, at this point Cruz and Paul ain't getting it done.
We need to hire 535 Lineman and women who fixed Florida.....
He IS working for all Americans - not just those RINOs that want to go along to get along. He is calling out the bill for what it ISN’T:
It ISN’T repeal
It ISN’T replace.
It is only a slight trim
Not to worry because our servants of the people always have an escape hatch.
That sentiment isn’t hard to understand when one considers that the GOP cannot accomplish anything.
