I wonder if that retired US general and admiral served with the ROK ("South Korean") military? I did and I have no doubt that they'll hand the People's Army their heads.

Does anyone in the Pentagon seriously believe a war on the Korean peninsula would stay conventional for longer than a few hours, if that?

God forbid it happens but if it does it’s gonna go nuclear real fast and North Korea will end up a hole in the ground by the end of the day.

SK has one of the largest and well-trained armies in the world.

Neo-cons saber-rattling to commit more Americans lives in a fight that SK can easily win on its own.

Conventional warfare?

If you don’t kneecap North Korea in the first five minutes South Korea will be a cinder block.

Is that the plan?

Best wrap it up in 72 hours then.

20k per day is worse than Gettysburg. I have my doubts unless the war is nuclear or only lasts one day with a mindless all-out attack by the North on a mission to kill civilians before they are all killed.

I saw a report once that North Korea has many chemical and biological weapons with range of Seoul South Korea (approx 30 miles) hidden in the mountains. I never forgot that.
