2009 We can’t do anything because we are a minority in the House, and are still the minority in the Senate, and do not hold the White House.

2010 We can’t do anything because even though we have a majority in the House, we still are in the minority in the Senate, and still do not hold the White House.

2012 We can’t do anything because even though we have a majority in the House and Senate, we lost the White House.

2014 We can’t do anything because even though we have extended our lead in both the House and the Senate, we still do not hold the White House.

2016 We can’t do anything because even though we hold the House, the Senate and the White House, we do not have a fillibuster-proof majority in the Senate.

2018 We can’t do anything because even though we hold the House, a fillibuster-proof majority in the Senate and the White House, we just don’t want to.
