Delanie Walker is a tight end for the NFLs Tennessee Titans and has opened his yap about fans who are upset over players choosing to disrespect our nations flag and anthem by sitting it out at the start of games. He probably shouldve just clammed up.
Walker, who is currently on a two-year contract thats paying him $13,375,000 (thats THIRTEEN MILLION THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS) that includes a signing bonus, a roster bonus, a workout bonus plus other incentives, has come across as the ultimate entitled millionaire jock by telling fans he really doesnt care if you show up.
NBC Sports:
Some fans have threatened to boycott the NFL over players protests during the national anthem. Titans tight end Delanie Walker has a message for them: Bye.
And the fans that dont want to come to the game? I mean, OK. Bye. I mean, if you feel thats something, were disrespecting you, dont come to the game. You dont have to. No ones telling you to come to the game. Its your freedom of choice to do that.
The Titans were among three teams that skipped the national anthem Sunday after President Donald Trumps tweets. The President has predicted a backlash against the NFL in the wake of the protests, which included dozens of NFL players taking a knee during the national anthem in Week 3.
So youre telling us if we dont want to come, dont come, what do you care? Well Delanie theres another old saying you may be getting familiar with real soon be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.
Sometimes appearances do tell you what you need to know.
Gang type tattoos on display.
Ex-Jail-Bird?
Looks that way.
Garrison forgot to add the Dallas Cowards.
If it wasn’t for his God given talent this mutt would be living out of a shopping cart.
I’m sure these player’s agents can explain to these cry babies to 10 decimal places why less viewers mean less money for all.
Gonna be fun watching this one crash and burn.
“I don’t need any money”
And he won’t get any.
And the fans that dont want to come to the game? I mean, OK. Bye. I mean, if you feel thats something, were disrespecting you, dont come to the game. You dont have to. No ones telling you to come to the game. Its your freedom of choice to do that.
And that folks is a very stupid businessman.
So stupid he doesn’t even know he’s a businessman.
I mean, OK. Bye, NFL.
... and their mothers dress them funny!
Sorry we don’t want to support anti whitey cop killers who can only spout about “white supremacy”. Fix your crap before you come at me.
Well I say, If they take a knee, just giveem the FINGER!!
And, bravo NRA, herein: https://youtu.be/z3j1ZKz7PWQ
The NFL just might be put in a situation by departing fans that the profits disappear and there isn’t enough income to cover the outrageous salaries these players apparently think they are worth. How many will try and refuse to renegotiate their salaries?
LOL!
Apparently CTE has set in already.
This wealthy anti-American AH would have better luck juggling flaming chainsaws while rollerskating than me paying to go see him.
Enjoying watching their anti-American NFL world implode.
Really. Most athletes, sorry to say, are dummies. That’s just the reality.
A player who makes $460,000 a year is in the top 1% of income earners. As a mater of fact, only 1% of the players in the NFL are below the $460,000 threshold. How many of us would love to be in the top 1$? Give me that pig skin filled with air!
A much better way to go for these players is to use their incredible fame (and income) to generate attention to the cause they want to fix. If it is police brutality, work for better training and incentives towards ideas that reduce the violent outcomes. If it is encouraging men to stay in the home and be fathers, there are a multitude of ways to do it. These players are in the driver’s seat for lots of good and this disgraceful disrespect of the flag for a perceived grievance is a distraction from a more worthy course of action. It is also destroying their credibility. I see it as taking their eye off the ball. They won’t get into any end zones with that.
