A similar idea occurred to me a while back. N. Korea sends a nuke into orbit disguised as their satellite launch, and announces it to the world that they now have a nuke in orbit which they can deorbit to land on continental U.S. whenever they want. If all they want is EMP attack, they don't even need to deorbit it.

Trump's latest tweet:
Being nice to Rocket Man hasn't worked in 25 years, why would it work now? Clinton failed, Bush failed, and Obama failed. I won't fail.

Our Strategic nuclear weapons are EMP hardened. They will be toast if they do anything like this.

They so want Trump to make the first move so that they can remove him from office.

N. Korean military has never had a chance in military-vs-military match. Their leverage has always been the prospect of horrific collateral damage to civilians.

Could be this is one of the matters the X-37 was looking into..?

If a preemptive attack turns out to be successful, they will do their best to give credits to McMaster rather than Trump, but if the ensuing aftermath gets messy, somehow they will change their mind and pin the blame on Trump again.

Just a wild guess, but they probably already eliminated the threat and why fat boy has been throwing a fit.

We have threads on the X-37 landing. It wasn’t up there sampling pollen.

I would have to think all of our commercial satellites are hardened, as well, because cosmic rays and solar concerns mimic EMP.

No, but they didn’t broadcast missions details so speculation is left. I would guess if a threat existed from orbit it has likely been compromised.
