That may be his wont, but VA conservatives have met with him, and he has climbed aboard the Trump train. Maybe the caboose, but in the real world we must take what we can get.

No he hasn’t, he’s lying.
The ads always only refer to removing illegal alien criminals.
They are ALL criminals.
It is not possible to be an illegal alien without breaking myriad other laws.
Just because they have not been caught and prosecuted does not mean they are “law-abiding”.
He might be marginally better.
That may have to be enough, but I will still have to do two stiff shots and use a clamp on my nose.
I have not met with Mr. Gillespie, but my very close friends in VA have. My guys are very, very solid constitutionalist conservatives. They have been successful in removing RINOs from office and replacing them with the right people. Gillespie has seen the light. He’s not as good as Corey Stewart - but he narrowly defeated Stewart in the primary - and knows he cannot govern without Stewart’s supporters.
So, go with the shots - but you may not need the nose clamp!
Once again we have a choice of amnesty or amnesty.

He’s lying to get elected, it’s what RINOs do.
When he ran against Warner for the Senate, I called his campaign weekly to get them to use Warner’s vote for Rubio’s amnesty against him and they refused.
He’s still pro-amnesty, he’s just trying to look like he’s not by saying he’ll cooperate with removing the convicted criminals.
Well, we’ll see how it goes. I’m not expecting miracles, but people I trust are involved, and have endorsed him. In this less-than-perfect world, sometimes we have to do the best we can.
If he turns out to be a liar and a phony who will pursue Dim policies, the conservatives will have to try again in 4 years - either with Stewart, or someone else.
