OTOH, here are the 3 types of hiLIARY votes:
1) Misandrists
2) Gimme Gimme Gimme — money/stuff
3) Gimme Gimme Gimme — power
That’s it. 100%
You should try reading the articles before you post them. This one is carp. Was that the point? To show how f-ed and confused the author apparently is about the subject?
I’m the racist, sexist Nazi type.
Where are the military veterans and law enforcement types?
I have to respectfully disagree. I think there was a YUGE Never Hillary contingent among Trump voters. Yes, there was an enthusiastic Trump crowd, but in several states the "Hell No, Not Her" vote was probably what swayed the outcome in Trump's favor.
I missed the Nazis, white supremacists, basket of deplorables, etc.
You mean Hillary lied again?
Once upon a time Pew did similar work:

I’m mostly a Staunch Conservative with a touch of American Preservationist and Anti-Elite thrown in there.
Most likely under Staunch Conservatives & American Preservationists.
About the only valid commonality among Trump voters is that they voted for Trump. (Don't worry, pollsters, people get paid for tautology in that biz all the time). That being the defining datum doesn't really help us much if what we're really trying to accomplish is understand the demographics within the Republican party, the conservative movement, or just people who were generally pissed off at the temerity of Hillary being a done deal and don't you dare say otherwise. Common among them is a disdain for the establishment media, a resentment at being pushed around by celebrity pundits and backroom movers and shakers, and just simple ornery cantankerousness at being told what they think instead of being asked. Best of luck putting that into neat little boxes.
See my tagline.
IIRC Trump got almost as many Bernie voters as Hillary did and more union households than Reagan.
No, sorry but that is claptrap. I could feel the enthusiasm for Trump. Especially during the primaries. This was not a protest vote at all. This was genuine grass roots movement. It didn't matter who the Dems ran.
Every vote that I have cast for POTUS since Reagan has been a protest vote against the Dem. This time it was different.
You should question your sanity.
It would be very interesting to know which groups have the most/least degree of participation in the military. Breakout by branch, service and whether they’ve been deployed to a hazardous fire area would be interesting.
It seems like veterans in particular would deserve their own profile. They defined the post WWII country.
Excellent point regarding USSC priority; that was a huge issue that brought many GOP leaners over to Trump even though they might have found him less than ideal.
Same here. But I also fit into a sixth category that should have been included in this group: the Comedy Show Patrons. These are the voters who recognize that professional politicians and their bosses who finance their campaigns have run this country into financial and cultural ruin. If someone like Yeb Bush was the GOP nominee we would have voted for Dave Chappelle as a write-in candidate.
I fall in the first 34 categories at least to some extent. But I disagree with this categorization. You have to add the I hate Hillary group, which has two parts. There is the I hate Hillary group, always have and always will. And there is the Hillary stole the nomination and sold the country out to big business and the other countries group.
I suppose I am, too. None of the categories match me.
