Florida police arrested 277 people -- including doctors, cops and pharmacists -- during a weeklong undercover sex sting operation.
During the operation, undercover detectives and investigators from several law enforcement agencies posted false advertisements on websites, social media sites and phone apps posing as prostitutes or to solicit sex workers."
One of the men arrested, Judd said, was a sergeant at his office. Sgt. Luis Diaz, who had been on the force for 17 years, resigned after the sting, FOX13 reported.

Its amazing how quickly and decisively the government can swing into action and hold regular people to humiliation and prosecution for a minor crime. Yet, Hillary, Comey, Clapper, Mueller, Rice, Lerner, and others will remain as free as a bird after attacking the very foundation of our republic.
These type police stings sort of creep me out. I don’t approve of prostitution but I don’t approve of these type stings either.
The officer in the video came across as this was something he enjoyed. What these people did is obviously wrong but something like this will destroy lives. Everyone of them are considered guilty until proven guilty or not guilty.
yep...and we sweat over our taxes for a few dollars and the elite just waltz thru life undeterred...
I think the Polk county sheriff is known for doing this type of thing.
Agree.
Government bodies like good salacious stories like this to remind people of the hard work they’re doing (TO GET MORE FUNDING!!!!!!!).
I’ve known police to call the local media so they’ll get the action on video. It’s all about justifying their funding.
Persevero contra mundum. I think prostitution is devastating to people and to our nation and Im delighted to see it prosecuted.
Interesting......
I got a text the other day from some person claiming to be *Mary* from Facebook. Sent me a photo of a girl with two cantaloupes stuffed in her shirt standing in a slutty post (with the implication that was her). Asked me for pictures of myself.
It came from a weird area code and when I showed a friend of mine and we got a laugh out of it, she asked me what I thought *she* really looked like and I said, probably a 50 year old cop sitting behind a keyboard.
I bet they won’t dare to stage a gay prostitution sting!
They are just putting out the bait and NOBODY is being forced to take it.
When they do, it is NOT by accident. It’s not like they are being confronted in a real life situation where they may be coerced or pressured into making and unwise split second decision.
When it’s porn over the internet, they have time to think about and and make their decision of their own free will.
If they don’t want the consequences, they shouldn’t be engaging in that kind of stuff.
These folks taking the bait are doing something illegal. How else do you propose catching them? Would you prefer the sexual abuse of women, and probably children, continue?
sheesh, boy, this problem is being worked on.
The way you know that is: YOU haven’t heard about it ((
I don’t believe it should be “showtime” for the sheriff. That is sure how he sounded in the video.
“It’s only about sex”.
DesertRhino nails it with this:Its amazing how quickly and decisively the government can swing into action and hold regular people to humiliation and prosecution for a minor crime. Yet, Hillary, Comey, Clapper, Mueller, Rice, Lerner, and others will remain as free as a bird after attacking the very foundation of our republic.Meanwhile, what else do we see, during a two week period where Harvey Weinstein is being cornholed by the media?
>These folks taking the bait are doing something illegal. How else do you propose catching them? Would you prefer the sexual abuse of women, and probably children, continue?
Arrest people after they have evidence of a crime instead of manufacturing a crime?
>I bet they wont dare to stage a gay prostitution sting!
Wouldn’t happen in a million years. Nor do they target young boys being pimped out to homos.
By spirit of law I believe organizing such stings is a crime and falling for it is not. Who and what exactly was hurt in these ‘crimes’? Ok, they rounded up people who could have been committed crimes and had thoughts of it. Thought crimes anyone?
To some extent, prostitution might involve human trafficking, but I am not convinced this business is going to involve prosecution. It looks more like an arrest action with no actual prostitution, we will have to wait and see how the prosecution proceeds.
Agreed, yet we keep electing and re-electing them time after time after.......
Those arrested attempted to commit a sex crime. That they were caught before they could succeed is what counts.
