The Republican House has most bills passed. It is the Senate who hasn't and the reason is because Majority Leader McConnell refuses to change the simple majority from 52 to 60. It's no wonder Chuck O Schumer walks over him and does what he wants.
The House has passed a lot of nothing or 1% bills knowing that McConnell will not permit them to pass in the Senate. The 60% rule should, pf course, be done away with. Nothing will improve, though, because the number of Republican senators who vote “no” will then increase sufficiently to make up for the loss of the filibuster but we will know who more of them are.
Yep, but thanks for the civics lesson anyway. Are you pleased with the performance of our Republican House leadership?

It’s all theater. The House wastes time passing bills they know the Senate will never pass just to give themselves personal political cover.
