The American people, they cant go to their workplace and start to protest about whatever may be happening in their life. That wouldnt be allowed and that shouldnt be allowed in the NFL.
Its not a violation of the First Amendment at all. You have off days, you can do it outside of the stadium or on other platforms, but not the gameday platform. Its a very simple question and people are making it more complex than it really is.
Blacks get special treatment.
Right on, Rocky.
Welcome to the 21st century... And the world that liberals have created.
Robert Urich played Rocky Blier in a great TV movie about his Vietnam experience, his injury and pro-football career.
Here’s the movie online:

I wish Robert Urich was still around!
The NFL Owners are tying to ride the tiger.
They are trying to get credit for supporting BLM and the rest of the SJW nonsense.
The thing about riding the tiger is, it is still a tiger...
Damn right! Damn Kneelers!!
The are probably a lot of younger people that have not read a full account of this man’s career. I am of his generation and at the time, I was stunned with what he accomplished.
Tenacity in the dictionary should have Rocky’s picture.
Ping for “Vietnam vet Rocky Bleier on NFL protests: It should have never gotten to this point.”
And the 1980 “movie of the week” story about Rocky Bleier’s comeback from being wounded to playing for the Steelers:

I would say that the damage has been done; I can hardly wait for the next broadcast negotiation. Business does NOT like surprises. Who knows what the NFLs reaction to the next stupid stunt will be.
He was always a hero to me. Notre Dame, Viet Nam, Steelers! What a fantastic patriot and athlete!
Absolutely correct. I can’t go to work, have a political temper tantrum and alienate half my company’s customers, and expect my employer to accommodate me. I would be fired. My job is not the place for that. Used to be common sense but liberal marxists are at war with common sense. And here we are.
Thanks for the ping. He is precisely right.
The only correct perspective. Thank you, Rocky Bleier.
This USED to be common wisdom - go Rocky !!!
The damage has been done over several years; this just made the problem hard to downplay/ignore. The NFL had become a touch football league in which tons of commercials separated what amounted to about 13 minutes of play over 3.5 hours, and in this day and age that just doesn’t play well. Anyone I’ve known who held season tickets (including Giants, Jets, and Eagles) had gotten rid of them before this national anthem business started, and anyone I know who still follows the game only does so for fantasy pools; watching games has become irrelevant.
The anthem protests just highlighted how far apart the NFL had grown from its fan base; over the past couple of years they gambled on replacing them with some of the last growth area for TV audiences - blacks, women, etc..
ESPN is planning another round of layoffs just six months after the network fired more than 100 employees, Sporting News reports.
Multiple sources told the sports news site that 40 to 60 people including on-air talent and radio personalities may be sent packing.
The layoffs could come as soon as late November or early December.
ESPN declined Fox News’ request for comment.
