LIVE UPDATES — CIA Making Last-Minute Redactions To JFK Files
Big League Politics ^ | 10/26/17 | Patrick Howley

The JFK Files that are supposed to be released Thursday are currently being held up by intelligence agencies including the CIA and the FBI.

The clock is ticking. President Trump only has until midnight to sign the order to release the documents, which were scheduled to be released on this date pursuant to a commission formed after Oliver Stone’s groundbreaking 1991 film “JFK,” which bravely explored the government’s longstanding cover-up of the real motives behind the assassination.

Some documents might not ever see the light of day, according to Deep State information leaks to the mainstream media:

5:33 PM EASTERN

NBC News reports:

“The law says the National Archives must release the 35,000 documents by midnight unless President Donald Trump objects on national security grounds. On Thursday evening, U.S. officials said that some material would be released, and other documents would be withheld to give agencies more time to figure out what they want redacted.”

By late Thursday afternoon, the memo specifying which material the CIA, State Department and other agencies still want to keep under wraps had yet not made it to Trump’s desk, U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News.
“There’s a mad scramble going on in the executive branch to get this done,” one official said.

The CIA is asking only for some redactions, not for all the documents to be held, the official said. But the other agencies involved in the process had not yet finished their submissions.”

The government probably has about 2,000 salaried employees who have “worked” on the JFK files for decades. Releasing all the docs would mean no more “need” to keep these “civil servants” on the payroll.

This is the BIG STORY on CNN right now, because there’s nothing else going on. And if course, it’s Trump’s fault.

Scary state the USA is entered into.

The people are “out” and the Swamp creatures are “in”.

Only “they” are allowed to know and hear and see and consume at leisure the inner workings of our Republic.

Even 50 years later, “they” decide what the people who are rubes, after all shall be allowed to read. The Rubes...er,... the “people”, are too unsophisticated to be viewing our national documents.

I thought the same. Why redact? Why protect if that person is already dead? Unless the person involved is not dead yet & that person is Globalist Former President George Bush Sr.

If so, I won’t hold it against today’s CIA or the FBI what happened over 50 years ago.

It appears Trump has put the Deep State guys back on the clock for 6 months to justify why not declassify. They are going to be “further reviewed”.

My own personal take on it was that, based on what they thought they knew then, that JFK had to die. Simple, if wrong logic.

JFK had Addison’s disease.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Addison%27s_disease

It creates a distinctive look to the skin that could be recognized by any physician familiar with it. At the time, the only effective treatment for it were cortisone injections.

However, at that time, the medical community thought that this much cortisone could make someone clinically paranoid and even violent. We now know that it does not, but that is what they thought at the time.

This had even entered the public mind because of a 1956 movie called “Bigger Than Life”, starring the very popular James Mason, at the peak of his career. It is about a normal man who has to take cortisone because of a strange medical condition. And it drive him homicidally insane.

A critic of the time described his performance as “chilling”.

So the simple math: JFK has Addison’s disease (you can even see his odd looking skin in black and white videos of his later speeches). The only treatment for it is lots of cortisone. And that much cortisone may very well drive the president insane.

A president who recently almost had a nuclear war because of the Cuban Missile Crisis. His “finger on the big red button.”

At the time, who *wouldn’t* think that if JFK refused to resign, which he had done several times before, that it might be necessary to remove him from office?

ok, go get 12 cups of coffee, then stop by the office supply store and buy 1 gross of the big black sharpie pens. It's going to be a long night!

But what if I just buy black paper to run in the copier, wouldn't that be the same?

WHAT? We are government workers and need to follow the book on redaction!

So the CIA is protecting him? However, The law was made while he was president to declassify. He signed off on it. Maybe he thought he'd be dead by now.

They are likely trying to hide things that would embarrass the agencies, not specific agents. Which is not a good enough reason to hide info from the public, frankly.

It puts the CIA in a bad light?? The CIA???

Well, what wouldn’t put this hideous, bloated, enemy of the American people of an agency in a bad light?

Yes if that’s the case, and that’s likely not going to fly with Trump if he finds out, which he should.

I just listened to Sabastian Gorka jokingly say there will be headlines saying that this is a Trump coverup, and lo and behold, here is such a headline: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5022249/Trump-orders-NEW-JFK-coverup-delays-releasing-files.html
