You’re one of those that gets it.

He is covered by the swamp and the media.

I’m SURE mccain at some level is helping to get Trump removed.

Mueller has no intention of stepping down and there is no real pressure for him to.

They’re out to get Trump. And they won’t stop until they do

In which case, things will get very nasty in this country.

U.S. Attorney Dana Boente — who served briefly as the Acting AG when Sally Yates was fired, announced his retirement on the same day the indictments were handed up. As the U.S. Attorney for the Virginia district he was working with Mueller’s team. This announcement was probably not a coincidence.

Lovin all this wild speculation. Mueller is going after Trump to protect himself and all those associated with the Clintons. News reports this week forced his hand, now before they become targets of a special prosecuter. Bad news for us all.

OMG, the most trusted name in news probably already knows everything, because of the most trusted man named as the special investigator. Did Trump not realize how deep the swamp really is? Outside of a total Gov’t. take over there is no way the swamp will ever be drained. The hands of corruption are everywhere. Those with the dirty hands will never be reformed, its their way of life. Drive into the swamp and spin wheels is more like it. When you see that the investigator has to be investigated, you know its going to be a loosing battle.

“Exclusive?” I thought CNN pimped out the same non-report, non-news last night....?

If flight risk was a concern, there would be no reason to publicize the event - they didn’t leak anything before raiding Manafort’s place....we are being set up and Mueller is doing it for other than the pursuit of justice...

just think it’s odd that you put the same link into four threads by other people and that you say you can’t post by phone but you say it in a post. If you can reply, you can post. Why ask others to post something for you. Also, that patriotbeat is blatantly plagiarizing dailycaller, word for word, so why not just post links to dailycaller.

You’re welcome

By all accounts Boente was a good guy. This does not sound like good news. The fact that the Mueller worms leaked this to CNN to hijack the weekend news shows is bad too.

It recently came out that Mueller is invested in George Soros' hedge fund, which has a $10 Million minimum investment.

Gee, for a government worker, Mueller sure does seem to have a lot of scratch.

Like Mayor Daley of Chicago he always took his lunch to work every day. Saved a ton of $$$$$$

Of course it is a national security matter, which covers everything under the sun about any scandal which involves colluding with the Ruskies. So, anyone from Carter Paige through Trump’s chauffeur could be involved so they are covered as they manipulate the press away from the real scandals: Uranium One; the Dossier and using it for political surveillance; the Seth Richards murder; and last but not least the Comey cover up investigation into the Clintoon e mails. Now armed with arrest warrants, they can go snatch up those they wish to get before the cameras in an orchestrated event. Expect someone to be grabbed today for the sunday morning shows; then sunday night through early tuesday. Drip Drip Drip, gee who could be next. The point will be to drive Trump into a rage because surely one of the arrested will be close to him or his family. Recall the commentary about the lack of disclosure regarding the foreign contacts portion of some form. Easiest to prove. One of those arrested will be given a “choice”: dream up something on Trump or face the music with the rest. Whom that is, time will tell. Meanwhile everyone in the media will be breathless as all the oxygen is out of the real scandals and even Las Vegas. The only part of the play is whether Trump takes the bait and fires all the jerks at the DOJ beginning with Sessions and down through the entire SC group. Surely that would begin an impeachment process with Ryan saying he has to do it for the good of the country (so he can come back and save it.) His castling thing would be to preemptively give them all a pardon.

Mueller is seeking relevancy and protecting his phony-baloney job while his termination letter is being drafted. This is a vapid investigation that has no facts, no end in sight, no logical conclusion, but a bottomless budget and undefined timeline (unless the intent is the continuation of oppo-research for 2020).

Maybe powers to be want this person(s) to flee the country. But I agree with some here, there is indeed a certain theatrical element to this news.

Mueller stakes his entire professional life in this move. It has not looked good for the FBI in these last 8 years, and there is a lot of culpability.

This had better be real, but my bet it is Manafort on money laundering. Which always sounds sinister. He will throw in mail fraud as well. The charges will be weak, but watch the press to see if he is coordinating this pony show. You’ll see dramatic copy of hushed tones from all the usual lackies. And they will say the door is open to impeachment. It will be detailed and prepped from Mueller’s office to their typewriters.

No matter how stupid, he will have the resources to fight an honest citizen into bankruptcy.

Perhaps ‘flight risk’ involved? Or fear of. Suspect hears his name on the TV and flies off to Belize or a muslim country with no extradition treaty. Just guessing of course.

You bring up an interesting point. The converse might also be true. Maybe they're waiting for someone to return to the country so they can pick them up.

It doesn’t really make a lot of sense to me. Why wouldn’t anyone who thinks they MIGHT be indicted just leave the country? Seems to me if they announced the person and arrested them NOW this wouldn’t be an issue.

Why does our so-called “justice” system move so damn slow, and why is our government so secretive? We-the-people didn’t put these people there just to get rich and keep secrets from us.

Here is MSN quoting CNN. If the only source of this story is CNN, why consider it anything other than fake news?

We’ll see on Monday.

No matter who or what the charges, DJT needs to immediately pardon him.

Excellent point!

If this story proves true, a leaking (to the media) Special Prosecutor should be investigated and held accountable.

But of course, laws in our system don’t apply to the Swamp.

One of the sources cited in the thread indicated that the indictment was sealed for national security reasons, so the identities of the targets won't be known publicly until they are taken into custody.

An indictment is a charge, which later leads to a trial. "Taken into custody" implies immediate pre-trial government arrest. How can this be possible?
