There wouldn’t be “invasion” levels of immigration if there were no welfare state.

I guess it’s time to show up at his House, remove all the Exterior Doors and then tear down the Fence surrounding his Property.

Then we can put a big Sign on his front lawn saying “Bienvenidos, mi Casa es tu Casa”.

Quit virtue signaling.

I agree that being a conservative is virtuous. Don't you like being a conservative yourself? And, I don't have to "signal" about being conservative, since it's quite noticeable without me having to go out of my way to do any kind of signaling. However, why challenge anyone on their conservatism and/or their stances on being conservative on the issues?

Most Americans know that all forms of immigartion have been abused for a long long time and are sick of it all.

You are attributing a stance on the majority of Americans which may not be true. Likely, at least half of Americans don't care about how immigration is abused, and all they care about is earning a paycheck and taking care of their families, and/or getting their government assistance. As long as people don't feel directly affected or threatened, most of them won't give a damn about illegal immigration.

That I support immigration is not the same as supporting "all forms of immigration". I don't care for illegal immigration, for example; and I don't care for immigration from countries that are hostile to the U.S., or that believe in violence to achieve their evil goals.

Got it?????

Next time, don't try to "put words in my mouth".

Kasich knows nothing about the bulk of the GOP, despite staying in the general election as a footnote drawing no support:

- Kasich voted for the “Assault” Weapons Ban. https://grabien.com/file.php?id=53463 and as of last year did not regret that vote

- Kasich supported and implemented Obamacare’s Medicare expansion http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/john-kasich-bible-medicaid_us_56140a54e4b022a4ce5fb1e3

- Kasich supports Amnesty for illegals. http://www.ontheissues.org/John_Kasich.htm

- Kasich dismissively said Christian bakers should “bake the cupcake” and participate in a gay parody of the sacrament of marriage, even if it violates their religious beliefs. https://www.frcaction.org/updatearticle/20160225/kasich-pushes

- Kasich supported Obama’s nominee for the Supreme Court. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/john-kasich-id-consider-nominating-merrick-garland-supreme-court-election-2016/

End of discussion. Those are not old views or comments taken out of context; they are Kasich’s current and consistent positions. Kasich is out of touch with working Americans and those who support the rule of law. Most of us oppose illegal immigration (with the modifier that he disingenuously omits).

Kasich has been so confused by what is deemed to be "politically correct," that he simply does not understand the issue. He believes it is all about whether you like the peoples of foreign lands. He misses the whole point that the intended function of our Federal Government is to put America First.

There are an almost infinite number of agencies around the world, which serve--or seek to serve--almost every conceivable human interest. The Federal Government is the one agency set up to protect & serve the interests of the rooted Americans. Donald Trump "gets it." Kassich simply does not understand.

He has become an embarrassment in our State and in the Republican Party.

What Drives The Trump Haters.

There is nothing to prevent the Governor from becoming some sort of Missionary, to demonstrate his love for humanity, anywhere else on earth. He does not need to insult the rest of us, for wanting to keep the one structure set up to serve and protect our particular interest as Americans.

BS. We are sick of it. Stop the flood. No other country has to endure this crap except Germany and few others.

You are in the minority, hence Trump's election.

I voted for Trump, and I would do it again, you dimwit!

As far as the minority goes, well, aside from culturally being classified as within a minority, I'm pretty sure that the majority of Americans are not anti-immigration, and it's dummies like you who believe that the majority of people are against immigration.

I'm against illegal immigration, and I'm for low numbers of legal immigrants, as long as they're not from hostile countries.

There is NO WAY that YOU or people like you are going to stop immigration. BTW, what Germany is going through is what the U.S. was going through under Obama, but, Obama is gone and so are his idiotic immigration policies. Have you noticed?

Now, stop being sick and start recognizing reality. Sickness of the head is not good for anybody. Ask liberals about how that feels.

Nobody could possibly accuse Americans of being anti immigration. That is just preposterous. What other country has opened its doors with a staggering 20% of it’s population foreign born? Hmm? Americans have been very generous and the USA needs break. A 20 year halt on all immigration would work.

You have a hard time reading and reading for comprehension. In my last post I agreed illegal immigration was a huge problem, and I also stated that it was under Obama that the problem became so out of hand. I also stated that we needed to have a lot fewer legally allowed immigrants into the country.

If it were up to me, I would cut off illegal immigration to ZERO, and legal immigration to less than 100,000 per year. It would not matter to me where they were coming from.

But, like I said, we have to face reality, and reality is that, we are living in a country where republicans and democrats alike, don't mind taking in millions of immigrants per year, legal or not.

Perhaps YOU can single-handedly fix the problem. Good luck, and report back when you are done.

Well, dude, the horses have been let out of the barn, and now, the only thing we can do is try to fix the problem. That's one of the goals which brought us Trump into the presidency. Hopefully, he'll be the one to finally get illegal and even legal immigration under control. Complaining about it doesn't help, so, do your part and report every illegal you see walking down the street and taking jobs away from Americans. Be a good citizen, won't you?

BTW, I am anti-immigration, the "illegal" type. I am not against immigration per se, as long as we know who we are allowing in and the numbers don't get ridiculous.

America does need a break, and we have been very generous, and we need to put a stop to it immediately. Which is why I suggested that you should report all of those illegal immigrants. How 'bout it? Hmm?????????
