Hussein was able to transfer more of his Muslim patriots out of GITMO in an exchange for a traitor. It worked.
Hussein treats Americans like they are idiots. Generally, he gets away with it.
Of course, he knew. Everyone knew. He and Rice and anyone else involved in the exchange should be spending the rest of their lives at GITMO.
When we had a real America, Bergdahl would already be on “death row”.
I do not understand why this POS is not dead yet. He deserted in a time of war and caused the death of his comrades.
TREASON by the then “president” seems pretty clear to me.
He knew who he was releasing, and despite any assurances to the contrary, that they would return to the fight.
So, what does the US do about it?
Absolutely nothing, as usual.

Obama knew that he could not just outright release those particular Gitmo inmates because they were the worst of the worse. So he seized the opportunity to accomplish his goal by using Berghdal as a pawn. But he also needed to cleanse Berghdal so he hosts his parents in the Rose Garden and instructs Susan Rice to praise the scumbag. Obama knew the truth about Berghdal, but he knew he could depend on the MSM to go along with his ruse.
Obama had nothing to worry about. The MSM basically blacked out war coverage while he was in office. His mismanagement was kept secret.

I hope he gets the firing squad, I think one of the guys that was looking for him and got killed was a SEAL not sure though.

I don’t know why Mattis hasn’t gotten more involved. And, I don’t understand why Bergdahl is still alive.
Just put this dud (Bergdahl, not Obama) in front of a firing squad and be done with it. I volunteer to be a member of the firing squad. I have enough years of Army service to know what to do and would gladly do it.
Mattis has done nothing to clean up the rot and filth at DoD. Huge disappointment.
