Guilty, Especially If Proven Innocent
Mitt Romney ^ | 11/11/2017 | By Laz A. Mataz

Posted on 11/11/2017 2:22:09 PM PST by Lazamataz

It read like something straight out of "The Onion".

"Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections."

So spake Mitt Romney, would-be King of the Establishment Republicans.

This one sentence shows a complete betrayal of all American mores and morals. In every walk of life -- law, elections, even reputations -- Americans have cherished the concept that one is innocent until proven guilty. This shows how dangerous Establishment Republicans are. They are every bit as dangerous as the most liberal Democrat.... and if given enough freedom to act, they would happily join Democrats in rounding up and killing Conservatives.

Right now, such a sentiment is reserved for Roy Moore, who clearly is the Establishment's second-worst nightmare (the first being Donald Trump).

Frankly, I'm surprised that Mitt Romney -- or as I like to call him, Mitt (R)Money -- didn't go a half-step further, and declare Roy Moore "Guilty, even if proven innocent."

The last year and a half have been the most revealing in all of American politics. We have certain proof that there is but one party in Washington, we have certain proof that they are more than happy to ignore voters wishes and even the results of elections, we have certain proof that they will stop at nothing to thwart the common citizen and their will.

It reveals a very dangerous situation, a situation that shows that the Establishmenty is completely unrestrained by American customs, laws, and basic moral fairness. I suspect that the Establishment would even allow a systemic collapse of America. "Better to burn it and rule over ashes," they think, "then to lose power."

If citizens sieze back government from these Esablishment Elites, let us use their words against them. We will not consider individuals such as Mitt Romney innocent until proven guilty. We will consider him guilty, and sentence him accordingly.

It sure was!!

"Do you mind walking behind me, President Trump, so no one can see that you've handed my @ss to me?"

Mere accusations are apparently enough to destroy someone.

.... and apparently a man who could have been President thinks that's perfectly ok. Guilt-or-innocence be damned. It's the accusation that counts.

Excellent, Laz.

Milt is the consummate carpetbagging, lying, conniving swamp dweller. He, McConJob and McStain need to do as Bannon says and RESIGN, or take their own advice and step aside.

If I were on FB and Twitter, and if FR had a share button, I’d hit it.

“Mittens”.....has much invested monetarily, along with his Worldwide organization/church leaders, to get Trump out of their way. Their part in Global Governance is dependent on how much revenue flow, wealth and resources they can bring to the table. So he’s going to oppose Trumps plans 100%.

To “Mittens”...the American people are simply a revenue source....as is all the countries their organization is in....esepcially since he’s one of the sevveral top dogs in that organization/church.

No way to show he's innocent. No way of proving he's guilty. It's he said/she said.

Before going there, take a breath and think about what this culture is doing to advancement of the REAL women's movement. Any male executive from now on would be insane to want to network with females or offer them advancement opportunities if they saw potential in an up-and-coming talented woman. I see the return of the good-old-boy network, and the new-improved glass ceiling. Women will no longer get the experiences. It's once again the law of unintended consequences - just like we'll probably never again see a black President.

More affirmation that it was the right choice to not vote for Romney.

I did not vote for obama, my presidential vote was effectively an abstain.

As atrocious as O was, keep in mind that it took an obama to get a Trump.

8 years of Trump after 8 years of O will be better for the country than 8 years of Romney and 8 of his rino successor would’ve been.

I saw an article about Romney saying that’s not for elections.

I wonder if that total idiot thinks our Constitution is not for elections?

Likely.

In fact, this is so bad, I expect that Mitt (R)Money is not for elections at all.

It is tough being a conspiracy nut in todays world. So many conspiracies are being proven true.

It looks like Romney learned all about lying from Whorehouse Harry Reid:.....

"Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections."

Romney's statement is undeniably true. In an election, voters can use any benchmark they want. Many people use party affiliation. Others use policy positions. Some many look at the color of a candidate's skin, other may evaluation the content of a candidate's character. Hell, a voter can base his decision on whether or not he likes a candidate's shoes.

"Innocent until proven guilty is for criminal convictions, not elections."
