President Donald Trump announced Thursday roughly $250 billion in deals between American businesses and China.
On his final day in Beijing, Trump and Chinas President Xi Jinping oversaw a ceremony in which corporate giants such as Boeing and Qualcomm signed multibillion-dollar deals.
This is truly a miracle, Chinas Commerce Minister Zhong Shan said at a news briefing in Beijing.
Trump said Thursday he was looking forward to a change in the U.S.-China relationship.
Discussing trade knowing that the United States really has to change its policies because theyve gotten so far behind on trade with China and frankly with many other countries, he said. ]
And I have great respect for you with that because youre representing China. But its too bad that past administrations allowed it to get so far out of kilter. But well make it fair and itll be tremendous to both of us.
Trump went out of his way to avoid alienating his host.
Both the United States and China will have a more prosperous future if we can achieve a level economic playing field. Right now, unfortunately, it is a very one-sided and unfair one. But but I dont blame China, he said.
After all, who can blame a country for being able to take advantage of another country for the benefit of its citizens? I give China great credit, he said.
Trump did not cite former President Barack Obama by name, but he had him in mind.
But, in actuality, I do blame past administrations for allowing this out-of-control trade deficit to take place and to grow. We have to fix this because it just doesnt work for our great American companies, and it doesnt work for our great American workers. It is just not sustainable.

The progs will not be pleased.
Bush “the Senile” started the NWO Free Trade crap. I F-ing hate the Bushs.
When the Chinese Commerce Minister admits that the USA has been getting screwed, but the American Chamber of Commerce won't accept that admission, you know where they stand.
Multi-national companies don't give a fat rat's ass about America, it's workers or our problems, only their profits and bonuses.
No way the Dems would the Dems have done this deal.
President trump slaps them upside the head and they come out smiling.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahahaha! ! ! ! ! !
Great!
Yeah, but he didn’t get a dime donated to his hicharitable organization. What a piker.
I’m starting to feel that way too.
I’ll even go a step further to say that after the smoke cleared, it seems that x42 might have been a better POTUS than either of the Bushes. That is a pretty horrific thought to pass through my head.
I need a shot of whiskey.
Much better than the bowing homo.
Yes, under Bush I kept wondering how exporting most of our computer industry jobs to third world countries on the other side of the globe was a good thing for America. The democrats and republicrats have decimated our nation for decades.
When it comes to giving China the upper hand as well as most of the Western Hemisphere vs. the U.S. in trade, no President has done more harm in leading us in a wrong direction than GHWB. When it comes to ranking Vice Presidents, GHWB is only outdone by Andrew Johnson in screwing up what his predecessor left him. Even LBJ was better.
But according to CNN this morning - Trump’s trip was failure cause there were protestors and Kim Fatty III was insulted.
“Yes, under Bush I kept wondering how exporting most of our computer industry jobs to third world countries on the other side of the globe was a good thing for America. The democrats and republicrats have decimated our nation for decades.”
The reason the establishment in America allowed the exportation of the computer industry was to protect themselves by being overwhelmed by newly rich Americans. It was purely selfish and traitorous.
The establishment is satanic in that they would rather rule in hell than serve in heaven.
Thanks Enlightened1.
Hillary would have walked away with millions in donations for the “Clinton Foundation Slush Fund” and a date book filled with ‘speech’ dates for Billy Boy...
As you say, “ God, I love this president”.
