I like smashed taters, too, but no gravy please. Just lotsa butter and salt does nicely. :-)
But sweet taters are mighty tasty and I love sweet tater casserole with Thanksgiving dinner. Yum YUM!

We were a little warmer today, warm enough to take Churchill outside for a little walk-around.
Avatar came home from the vet minus two teeth but ate regular canned food for supper. No baby food was necessary.
Have you tried to replicate it?
My mom made corn bread dressing...not stuffed into the turkey...and I’ve never been able to make it the same, either. Best we do is go to a local cafeteria. Their’s isn’t awful, but not like homemade.

Off to work tomorrow, Wednesday will be my easy day, I'll work at a Walmart in the AM. Then I'll probably do some shopping there for odds and ends afterwards.
Those temps aren’t too bad. We had 50 degrees yesterday but there was a nasty little wind that had a bite. Today reached 61 with no wind. Felt pretty nice.
Rain coming through tomorrow so it looks like grocery shopping will be done in the wet. I’m thinking about shutting the computer off and doing it tonight.
Next week isn’t going to be fun. Winter temps move in Sunday. :-(

I think it does everyone. But the summer heat is the worst for me. Ugh.

Home grown is best!
We have an accidental tomato plant this year that has produced way more ‘maters than anything we planted on purpose. And they are so yummy!
