So many of these people sound just like the liberals that have destroyed California. They take pleasure in the idea that liberal states are going to get “cut down to size” so they can get what they want.

I take no pleasure in the idea that some people (not all or even nearly all as some people keep saying) will pay more taxes in loony left states like CA under the plans that have been introduced. I don't care for a lot of things in the bill.

However I believe the economy will benefit from cutting the highest corporate tax rate in the world. I would be okay with just a corporate tax cut and leaving personal taxes unchanged for now.

If anyone sound just like the liberals that have destroyed California it's people who say the corporations are evil and "keep all the money for themselves" or some such loony left thing. People who think that way should move to N. Korea or Cuba.

If Trump signs this (and I am 99% he will), then he is going to jettison a tremendous amount of goodwill and a large percentage of his biggest supporters.

I have been a forum member for almost 20 years. I think I have a pretty good sense of the winds of politics. I used to live in Washington DC, I was in hearing of the House and Senate Armed Services Committees, and I have been in the Capitol. I have served in the Pentagon. I worked with contractors and lobbyists. I used to visit offices in Chrystal City and Georgetown, and we engaged in long conversations with high ranking staffers and former members of Congress.

For people who assume that the revolving door is how it all works, well, they are correct.

The GOP has admitted that these bills are written by K Street, and for their lobbyists. They are written to benefit business, and screw the middle class.

What is going on here with these tax bills is that a certain side have been designated as the "winners" -- but that is going to come at a tremendous price of the "losers." What the "winners" don't want, above all, are the facts to come out until their win is achieved. Fear of losing brings anger and hatred upon those who might expose their position before they get what they want.

I have seen it a 1000 times.

Here on FR - many posters want to project the myth that anyone who is in opposition to these bill is a Communist, Socialist, or Trump hater. Further, they want to deceive people into the lie that "corporations don't pay taxes" - and they blatantly say that as we are debating the middle class getting soaked to pay for a slash in the corporate rate from 35% to 20%. If I had a dollar for every poster who said that lie here in the last month, I could take my wife out for a nice dinner.

Now that McStain has come out in support of this bill, I believe it will pass. I think there will be a tremendous boost in the already overinflated stock market. But many middle class Trump supporters are going to get creamed.

We will lose the House in 2018 if this passes. I am almost certain of that.

And then, Impeachment will begin.

Mark my words.
