Doug Jones, the Democrat running for Alabamas U.S. Senate seat, says he loves to hunt but the Second Amendment has limitations. He believes that every right enumerated in the Bill of Rights is limited, and the Second Amendment is no exception.
According to the Alabama Political Reporter, Jones described himself as a Second Amendment guy, but stressed that some gun control is necessary. He said, Weve got limitations on all constitutional amendments in one form or another. This position is contrary to the clear language of the amendment, which states that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
He stressed that he loves to hunt but still believes in smart gun laws.
During a September 24, 2017, appearance on Meet the Press, Jones said, The biggest issue, I think, thats facing the Second Amendment right now is that we need to make sure we shore up the National Crime Information System, the NICS system for background checks, to both keep guns out of the hands of criminals, but at the same time, cut down on error so that law-abiding citizens can get those.

Every time a leftist mentions hunting and the second amendment in the same instance I immediately know I’m listening to one of the dumbest people I will see all day.
Come on over Doug, feel free to walk right in during the night.
How is he related to John Ossoff?
Someone told Doug to say something because no one knows who’s running against Moore ,LOL
[He stressed that he loves to hunt but still believes in smart gun laws.]
The 2nd Amendment ain’t about duck hunting. A**hole.
The only limitations I can think of are how quickly I can pull the trigger, rack the slide, reload, etc.
Limitations on you as well assclown.
It limits the power of politicians just as intended.
Translation "If elected to the Senate, I will be just another democrat rubber stamp for any gun control bill that comes up for a vote, including an outright ban and confiscation."
No, Doug—It doesn’t.
Who you going to send to limit them for ya Doug?
My limitation is more effective. I am limited in buying all the guns I would like to have, limited by my bank account.
Yep, it's right there in invisible ink:
"Shall not be abridged" except when Doug Jones says it's okay.
2nd protects 1st, Dougie - this ain’t Canuckistan.
He’s a democrat. What else could you expect?

Actually, there was one. The 2nd was meant to protect the militia from gun confiscation. The liberals fail to note that the militia was defined as almost all able bodied men capable of military service. The only ones not covered were members of the federal government.
Is anyone advising this clown?
