The betting site, electionbettingodds.com now has Moore a 52 point favorite over Jones (75.7% to 23.99%) which is nearly what Moore’s advantage was before the sex allegations surfaced.

These recent polls must be really flummoxing the McConnells and Allreds.
They've played all their cards.
What else can they do?

While Washington and the nation went all GAGA of these untrue smear attempts, the people of Alabama rolled their eyes and yawned.
This attempt to smear and destroy Moore was childs play compared to normal Alabama Political campaigns. Everyone saw clear through this as an attempt by snobs and elites in Washington to tamper with OUR ELECTION! And we here in Bama did not bite and do not buy it.
Moore will win and will win easily. Bank on it. This will be a 10-20 point win if not more when the votes are counted.

This scandal dump happened way too soon.
If the WashPo article came out this Friday, there would have been no time to defend.
As it happened, there has been sufficient time for Moore to recover.
Somewhere, there is a story there about why the WashPo jumped the gun.

As we get closer to the election the polls will show more and more boosts for Moore. They cant be too far off from the actual election results if they want to get paid in the future, so they move from push-polls to real polls. Happens every time.

Fox in the meantime trying their best to give the race to the liberal. On Fox this morning with Sandra Smith and Bill Hemmer
Never Trumper Marc Thiessen just called Roy Moore a sex predator. Hardly says a word about Matt Lauer, the question he was asked. Never forget that GOPe Thiessen works for leftist WaPost.. By the way neither Hemmer or Smith corrected the big nose SOB.

I’d love to see a resounding victory for Roy Moore ... it would be entertaining to see how the GOPE leaders in the Senate react since they have been publicly clear they would have him expelled ...

Leftists don't seem to understand the copncept of overplaying one's hand. It seemed to work for them, or not hurt them, with the Occupy fiasco. If anything, that should have turned voters off of leftism by the hundreds of thousands. But Obama was re-elected anyway.

Last minute surprise accusations.
You are correct; Judge Moore should have pre-emptive commercials warning people that a "huge" hoax will occur at the last minute hoping he won't have to respond.
"Well, let me say right now that it's a lie just like all the other lies!" (Moore should say.)

Remember when the media tried to sink George W Bush with Enron.. .
something Bush had absolutely nothing to do with.
That was a non stop, 24 hr media smear job.
W’s only crime was being friendly with Ken Lay.

Simple. They thought they could ride the wave of hysteria from Weinstein and Spacey, and thought that women would naturally reject Moore in the process.
They saw it only as a man-woman thing, and not the liberal-conservative culture war that the Weinstein-Spacey scandal really was.
