The top Democrat in the House is calling on a Nevada congressman to resign amid an allegation of sexual misconduct.

In a statement early Saturday morning, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says she spoke to Rep. Ruben Kihuen Friday night. She says the allegation against him from a former aide was convincing and in light of the accusation, “Congressman Kihuen should resign.”

BuzzFeed News had reported that Kihuen is alleged to have repeatedly made sexual advances toward an aide during his 2016 congressional campaign.

Another on the chopping block. We need to see the full list of 260+ settlements. Democrats and Republicans will likely want it out soon, else face the drip, drip, drip of a new one or two every day over the next few months.

I don’t know how to photoshop, but I saw your post and my mind thought about those Calvin Klein male underwear ads.

Kihuen was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. His family moved to the United States in 1988. Kihuen’s father was a laborer in Orange County, California, before moving to Las Vegas in the 1990s and becoming a middle school science teacher.

Kihuen attended Rancho High School and was named the 1997–1998 Nevada “soccer player of the year.” He graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. While in high school and college, Kihuen volunteered for the campaigns of Senator Harry Reid, Virginia Governor Mark Warner, and Houston Mayor Lee Brown.

Democrats treat Blacks and Latinos as their slaves, thinking they are stupid and have to be told what to do. They have no idea how to respect their fellow man as their equal, with equal rights to themselves. Democratic bigotry.

Let’s look into Pelosi’s ties to human trafficking, witchcraft, RICO, and pedophilia.

In a statement early Saturday morning, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi says she spoke to Rep. Ruben Kihuen Friday night. She says the allegation against him from a former aide was convincing and in light of the accusation, “Congressman Kihuen should resign.”

All that is publicly known is that "In December 2017, a former staffer on the Kihuen campaign accused him of repeatedly propositioning her for dates and sex." (- Wikipedia)

I wonder if, in the private conversation, Kihuen admitted to more than just that.

Regards,

Isn't it amazing how many of these accusations are happening to men in politics, media and Hollywood but no women have had to come forward, to be raked over by the press, while these accused men are agreeing they did these things and leaving jobs on just accusations?????

What lawyer tells their client to agree to the accusations without proof? The only reason for this is that these people have been told they are done and must leave or are going to be charged with something far greater.

If all the sexual-abusing Congressman resign, there will be smaller percentage of occupied seats in the HOR than at a current NFL game!

“What happened? Did this guy turn down Nancy Pelosi?”

Pelosi is a cold political operative. She recognizes that the Democratic body has some cancerous parts that must be cut off to save the rest. She is more than happy to cut off arms, legs and whatever other political organs are necessary.

She also said Conyers had to resign, and had to find a white congressman so people would stop saying she’s just going after the black guy.

“She also said Conyers had to resign, and had to find a white congressman so people would stop saying she’s just going after the black guy.”

Yes, I recognize the sarcasm, but I looked to see if the two Congress Critters could be replaced with other Democrats. Apparently both Conyers and Kihuen serve in states with Republican governors. Potentially, both could be replaced by Republicans, who might prove difficult to unseat in an election. This is very curious. Either Nancy’s political skills have atrophied or she really, really senses danger from the charges being leveled. Normally, Democrats just circle the wagons and wait for the public to forget. (Anywhere from minutes to months.) It really doesn’t matter, or at least it hasn’t in the past, that the Democratic runner is a scumbag.

Nancy "orders" them to resign.

They Don't.

Nancy; "see, I/we did the right thing but they won't resign and since this is America, I can't force them."

“Nancy “orders” them to resign. “

Nancy can’t order them to do anything. She can suggest, which she has done. But what this means is that the Democratic machine will likely find, develop and finance a primary challenger. While it is possible for the existing candidate to win anyway, Joe Lieberman is an example, it is unlikely in these two cases. It is likely that one or both of them will negotiate a deal where they go off to some university job with plenty of money and perks.

There are two “retirement” paths for connected Democrats. They are shunted off to a college someplace or they become lobbyists. The alternative is a gun cleaning accident.
