If it was ‘just’ one area, but it seems the whole of Califlower if afflicted with these.
Not the ‘new urban nomad’ AKA the working ‘poor’ but the folks who chose to live in fetid squalor. LA County has only one tow outfit that will even touch one of these owing to fleas, rats and so on.

I DO plan on having some type of blog/vlog!
I plan on putting the address in my id here on FR and would post here when I can.
We have a 1987 Tashing Tashiba (a Bob Perry boat).

The actual photos in the page are of our boat, but, before we bought it.

Yep! And then they dump their raw sewage right where there parked.

Rob would buy an RV like this for anywhere from $200 to $1,000. There's the problem. Just feed them into a big shredder.

In the Sepulvada Dam area, Lake Balboa area there is a creek where a few dozen people are camped. A few weeks ago the water smelled horrible and there were no fish or ducks where there were dozens before when you looked down from the bridge. The water was tea colored. I suspect there are homeless camped further upstream.

A quick search of craigslist in LA shows 20 listings from today for apartments and houses under $1200.
So what gives with these s'posed "working poor" living in RV's for the same money?
Just curious. d:^)

Once Rob rents out a motorhome, he gives his tenant the cell phone number of a man who works for a porta-potty company and makes side money emptying out the septic tanks of RVs full of homeless people.Don't know how that works though - they probably do have some "seepage"...
