My takeaway impression is that Mueller had better come up with something soon. So far, he is an embarrassment and he has exposed the FBI to charges of playing politics. The public is not amused. As surprising as this lack of amusement is, it may actually give Trump the moral power to put a stop to this farce without any political fallout. I think the only thing protecting Mueller is the fallout that might happen if he is fired. (Actually, I think criminal charges should be filed against Mueller.)
Trump’s supporters would love to see him fire Mueller. The problem is the rinos in office who are itching to start impeachment proceedings.
