There is no “peace process.” There is a reason to give the Palestinians money and support so they can continue to conduct war against Israel. If the Palestinians are forced to admit they have lost their war, then there will be peace. Not, before.
I submit that there are five stages for the Palestinians to get through before they can have peace with Israel.
1. Denial
2. Anger
3. Bargaining
4. Depression
5. Acceptance
Various people have been stuck on stages one through four. But nobody has made it all the way to the final step, acceptance. This is because, until the US recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, there is good reason to hang onto whatever stage they are comfortable. But once the US seals their fate, they have no place else to go but acceptance and then, peace.
But the Pali stages are:
