We haven’t withdrawn from anything. We have just gotten tired of European parasites.

We don’t mind being a ‘reliable guarantor’, but not at the cost of bankrupting our own country and compromising our own standard of living. We can, will, and do supply the brawn, but the bills that stack up have to be paid sooner or later by those who forget these things once they’ve relied on our nation to restore their standard of living.

He said that the current US administration had taken an “extraordinary distance” from its traditionally close relationship with Europe, which it now increasingly viewed as a “competitor or economic rival” rather than an ally.

I seem to remember that the reason for founding the EU was as a "competitor to the US"

You reap what you sow

We will not be plundered anymore

MAGA beats EU.

What ARE EU’s interests? Seems like all they want is to subjugate its people and force the likes of Poland into submission. And, to destroy themselves with muzzies. What are their interests?

EU needs to project its power ... a movie projector will suffice as that’s all they can afford.

The EU will be too busy fighting their own civil war within 20 years (in some areas sooner) due to their ‘multiculturalism’.

The last thing they need to worry about is ‘projecting power’. That is LAUGHABLE.

Dr. [Konrad] Adenauer’s approach to the problem of German Realpolitik is a more subtle and far-reaching one […] A careful study of the available documentation must lead to the conclusion that the German aim is the creation of a third power bloc, based on the following principle: “Let the United States first press for a European Federation, and let the American taxpayers provide the billions of dollars required for German rearmament. After a German-dominated Europe is established, we shall have the opportunity for a far better bargain with the Russians. Moscow will pay a high price if we pledge ourselves to break with the United States. Then the moment will come when Germany can again play an independent role in the world power politics.” …

Germany Plots with the Kremlin (1953), pp. 12-13
You remember correctly.

Companies are holding a $2.6 trillion pile of cash overseas that's still growing

Q: What happens to the EU's big banks if that money comes home...?

There's been and still is foreign interference in our electoral system, all right. And it AIN'T (just) the Russians.

His main concern is the Russian gas pipeline that may make German companies subject to US sanctions.

The SPD effectively functions as an extension of the Russian foreign ministry due to the payoffs it and its members have received from Russia: former Chancellor Schroeder and Foreign Minister Fischer are on the Gazprom board.
