Jordan finished with this: “Here’s what I think — I think Peter Strozk … Mr. Super Agent at the FBI, I think he’s the guy who took the application to the FISA court and if that happened, if this happened, if you have the FBI working with a campaign, the Democrats’ campaign, taking opposition research, dressing it all up and turning it into an intelligence document so they can take it to the FISA court so they can spy on the other campaign, if that happened, that is as wrong as it gets.”

This is a real Congressman.
He and Dave Brat need a lot more company.

Sessions I believe was forced by certain people in the deep state to recuse himself so that it would be Rothenstien <SP? who could appoint the Special Counsel. Part of the set up for the silent coup. Sessions is being complicit in all of this; what does he know?

That’s just ridiculous, no insult intended. Timing is everything in taking down the deep State, and Wray wants to get his ducks in a row before that information comes out officially. Further, now that the press is curious, would the impact of revealing it officially make a lot more impact if the media can first show the public where the facts are leading.

If there is one thing that Wray is doing very right, it is emphasizing that the independent Inspector General is investigating and he will act upon that report. He cannot reveal such details before they are independently confirmed by the IG, for fear being accused of steering things in a partisan direction.

_____

That seems about how I see it.

I didn’t (mean to) say he was worried, he just basically looked angry at one point..... maybe because he knew he had to keep his cards hidden for more time.

The DOJ IG is an Obama pick. Wray doesn't need the IG to answer that question, and he should have answered it.

From what I can tell, Jordan’s performance is as a legislator (Rep in Congress) not as a judge (”judiciary”).

This was a House Judiciary Committee hearing. Jordan is a member.

Watergate was unnecessary--Nixon was going to win anyway. It was about turning a 55%-45% landslide into a 60%-40% landslide and involved some illegal wiretapping and some other penny ante dirty tricks.

The Clinton/Obama tactics in the 2016 election were far worse--using the agencies of the federal government to try to ensure that the Democrats would keep the White House (so that Obama's policies would continue). If their tactics had succeeded all future Presidential elections would have been Venezuela-style elections.

I'm not sure of that. But the question could be asked what does someone know about him.

Rep. Jim Jordan calls for second special counsel over FISA warrant on Trump aides!

By Sally Persons - The Washington Times - Thursday, December 7, 2017
Rep. Jim Jordan said Thursday that an additional special counsel needs to be appointed to look into how a FISA warrant was obtained to look at members of President Trump’s campaign team.

“The only logical way to get to the answers for the American people is to appoint a second special counsel. And if the attorney general is not going to do it, frankly, I don’t think he should be the attorney general,” Mr. Jordan, Ohio Republican, said on Fox News.

Mr. Jordan wants the release of the application to secure the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) warrant to see if the dossier, funded by Mr. Trump’s political opponents, was used to justify the warrant.

FBI Director Christopher Wray is set to appear on Capitol Hill Thursday before the House Judiciary Committee, and Mr. Jordan said he expects answers on this probe.

Mr. Wray was not head of the FBI at the time the warrants took place.

Rep. Jordan Grills FBI Director: Did Agent Who Sent Anti-Trump Texts, Bring Dossier to FISA Court?

“Let’s remember a couple of things about the dossier,” Jordan replied. “The Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign, which we now know were one and the same, paid the law firm who paid Fusion GPS who paid Christopher Steele who then paid Russians to put together a report that we call a dossier full of all kinds of fake news, National Enquirer garbage and it’s been reported that this dossier was all dressed up by the FBI, taken to the FISA court and presented as a legitimate intelligence document — that it became the basis for a warrant to spy on Americans.”

Mr. Super Agent at the FBI

I was told in years past that investigations are never conducted out of FBI headquarters, rather a local investigation should emanate from a field office, EG., Washington Field Office.

Yet super agent is involved with everything. Seems like he was keeping his thumb on everything.
