They pretend to “sacrifice” a democrat senator, whose replacement will be a guaranteed democrat, while in exchange they want a solid republican senate seat to be filled by a democrat.

My greatest fear? That we get all SOCIALIST Governors in the Great Lakes States and they SELL our water to the highest bidder, foreign or domestic!
We do have a contract/compact that that CAN’T happen without ALL Governors signing on to it - and believe me, it WOULD be WWIII if that ever happened, but...stranger things HAVE happened so far in my lifetime. :(

Do d Franken actually resign?
He ANNOUNCED plans to resign someday, maybe.
Until he’s gone he hasn’t stepped down or resigned.
FTR, Franken did NOT resign. He merely stated his intention to resign “in a few weeks”. He also continues to take no responsibility. Franken claims some events didn’t happen, others he “remembers differently”. All and all a well rehearsed blowing of smoke. They don’t like Franken, and see him as a liability. Knowing he will be replaced by one equally odious, under the bus he goes. Same with Conyers. He’s done, regardless, soon to be replaced by a younger version of himself. All this is an attempt to set the Dims up on the moral high ground against Moore and eventually, Trump. Imagine the Dims being sanctimonious and holier-than-thou about, well, frankly anything!
They aren’t as clever as they think, though. Liars have too much to remember, and eventually trip themselves up. Some talking head on Fox brought up Bill Clinton’s improprieties, and the liberal guest naturally remarked how it was absurd to dredge up something from twenty years ago. Of course it never registered that accusations against Moore are from forty years ago and are unsubstantiated. Monica kept the dress.
