On Thursday’s radio program, LevinTV host Mark Levin called out the “phony” resignation of Sen. Al Franken and warned that the Democrats are gearing up to flip their position if Roy Moore is elected to the U.S. Senate in Alabama.

“This is one of the most cynical political ploys by the Democrats in the Senate that I’ve seen in a very, very long time,” Levin said.

Levin explained that the rush of Democratic senators who called for Franken’s resignation earlier this week has the mark of a coordinated effort. Further, Franken’s declaration that he would resign “in the coming weeks” is highly suspicious.

“This is all a scheme,” Levin said. “A sickening, cynical scheme!”

“Our President is not a fool. He has aces up his sleeve and is just waiting to play them”.

I agree.

You’ve nailed it. Levin is right, it’s all a cynical ploy to rain on Senator Moore’s parade; morals be d@mned.

I was talking to some folks about this a few days ago. IF, and I say “IF” McConnell drags Moore in front of the Ethics Committee, and they find nothing (which is what I think would happen if they try it), this will B*L*O*W U*P!

McConnell will be finished.

My bet is that Franken will hold on until the end of May, when it would then be too late for a special election in the 2018 cycle, and push back a special election to 2019, giving Governor Dayton’s interim appointee almost two years in office.

So Franken doesn’t resign - so what? Anyone Minnesota appoints or elects in his place would be as stupid or even worse. Better the enemy you know (and can beat on with the Leeann Tweeden pic anytime you want).

We all know that the real target is not Roy Moore - it’s President Trump. They keep bringing up the Access Hollywood tape like it’s a semen stained dress or something - in fact, it’s prompted male braggadocio with no evidence of an actual act, by a guy who at the time had no reason to clam up. Just like Judge Moore - lots of unsubstantiated claims, no actual evidence. The only actual evidence for Judge Moore is that he apparently liked to date high school chicks when he was in his thirties, which is a bit weird but certainly was not a crime at the time.

The rats and the media (yeah, I know - same thing) think that throwing Franken under the bus gives them some sort of moral high ground over Moore and Trump, so don’t see what they gain by letting him stay. They certainly won’t have any mercy on him - party uber alles with these jerks. And Judge Moore and President Trump have the advantage of no evidence of guilt, despite what the media manufactures out of whole cloth.

Conyers is rapidly disappearing down the media memory hole, but he’s practically a vegetable and was being propped up and fed lines anyway so they need Franken’s resignation to maintain the appearance of integrity. My guess is that Franken will eventually resign, then suddenly receive a multimillion dollar offer to host a show on CNN or PMSNBC, and we will end up paying his salary through some DNC money laundering scheme.

Their game is to go after Trump.
Franken is part of it probably willingly

Please point out your previous post where you stated the same obvious thing.

Here is a House member that has said he will resign.

Franks of Arizona, who asked staffers if they would bear his children as surrogates, - will resign

It’s a political tactic/ploy.

Franken is going to be gone either way.

Instead of resigning, he/they wait until Judge Moore is elected.

The House/Senate has a process for Expulsion and Franken will be Expelled by the Dems and Republicans.

Then, they will call for the Expulsion of Moore under the same “Moral equivalence”.

This way they get the most mileage out of Franken’s departure.

Thanks. But I don’t think it went as far as actually asking them if they would bare his children. Maybe I’m wrong but a former female staffer of Franks said he only discussed it in broad terms.

Please point out your previous post where you stated the same obvious thing.

I don't have to, you can find it yourself if you want to. I said earlier today that the Democrats think they can toss Franken and Conyers thinking they'll take the moral highground for 2018 and it isn't going to work because they supported a RAPIST, ABUSER, ADULTERER and not only elected him, they RE-ELECTED HIM - BILL CLINTON TWICE.

The Democrats can never get away from that stench, and Clinton makes Trump look like a piker by comparison.

Go find it your damn' self. That's what I posted earlier today. Have at it.

FYI It’s still legal. Sixteen is the age of consent in Alabama, and why shouldn’t it be?

No.

I’m not interested in establishment Republicans in any way shape or form.

To Hell with them.

Marco Rubio didn’t get my vote in 2016, and he will not get it in 2022.

Not doing GOPe any more.
