Interesting perspective... I wouldn't be at all surprised if it turns out to be correct.

I predict Franken will be gone by the end of January.

I don’t know about that, but I do know this: if Judge Moore dropped out, Franken would rescind his resignation announcement.

Here’s my prediction:

If Roy Moore wins, Franken will likely say, if you throw this man out for his crimes, I will resign for a few indiscretions. If you don’t throw him out, then I’m not going.

He will never resign!!! We got punked by this reprobate. He will say” If Moore can be seated— So can I “ it was all so easily seen. He will simply announce he has changed his mind based of the Alabama election.

GO ROY!!!

I suspect a foolish game of “chicken” — Franken indicates that he will leave the Senate, the GOP successfully convinces Moore to abandon his race before Dec 12, Democrat Jones becomes the next senator from Alabama, and then Al Franken has second thoughts and decides to stay.

But Moore won’t play. So Franken probably won’t resign.

His announcement was structured to placate his critics while giving himself a few weeks to look for ways to avoid leaving the Senate.

That’s fine. Make them eat it. If he wants to be another face of corruption in the Democrat party along with Pelosi, we can accommodate that. It is not like Dayton is going to put anyone better in the seat, only someone smarter.

It’s completely correct.

This whole thing is yet more Kabuki for the sleazes in the Rat party to pretend they give a damn.

The whole thing is con job to try to keep the Christian Constitutionalist Moore out of the Senate where he could vote to repeal Roe v. Wade.

That’s ALL it is.

Abortion is the sacrament of the sex mad Left.

I hope he does not resign (and agree he has not). We won’t get a worse Senator if he does resign, and might well get one who is not so vulnerable.

Let him remain to remind America of Franken as the stain he is, the discredited ugly reminder of the “who we are” Dems in Congress.

Let him stand for re-election.

Let us see who the voters of Minnesota are.

The entire strategy is to try and force everyone’s hands on Trump and Moore. These guys leave us with no word/phrase with which to describe them as “irrevocably evil” will not suffice.

Problem is that if he doesn’t resign Gillebrand, Schumer et al. will be very pissed and will have a lot of problems. I don’t think anyone should be forced to resign or dropout without credible, verifiable evidence.

Oh.....”I” committed sexual harassment and “I” get to say when I leave. BS.
Ethics Committee should continue.
He should be removed immediately.

“bragged on tape about his history of...sexual assault sits in the Oval Office”

Trump made advance after advance in a manner that would be deemed consensual.

Trump didn’t just grab and grope.

If Moore is elected Frankenstein will stay. He’s pissed that he’s being used as a political sacrifice by his party.

“He will not resign until Roy Moore does –”

Problem is there is no evidence against Moore. Franken, OTOH....
