So, Al Franken is a lewd boor, an unfunny buffoon, an intellectual midget, and an adolescent crude serial invader of womens space. The latter triggered his blindfolded walk-the-plank exit from the USS Senate.
How convenient for the Democrats to have a do-over, only a third of the way through Frankens second underwhelming term.
But the gaggle of Democrat moral peacocks only purged Franken from their caucus because his political value didnt extend beyond another replaceable vote, a mere commodity. Franken offered zero policy depth, wholly bereft of legislative scholarship, whose exposure on vital Senate committees, such as the Judiciary Committee, was an embarrassment.
Frankens sacrifice is sleeves off the Dems vests. No political risk, an easy flush of a useless white male, clearing the bowl for another swirl of identity politics, a Democrat staple, enabled by fellow progressive Minnesota governor Mark Dayton appointing his #2-- a woman-- to replace Franken.
Just another brazen calculation by the Democrats hoping nobody will notice their naked cynicism. How gallant, how courageous, how intrepid to now align themselves with sexual mores of the Shakers.
Of course they have tolerated, indeed venerated, womanizers, harassers, sexual predators, rapists, and all-purpose deviants since the days of JFK and his brother Bobbys peccadilloes, only to be outsized by younger brother Lion of the Senate Teds willful negligence in forsaking what might have been his pro tempore mistress/girlfriend in tide-swept waters under the Dike Bridge on Chappaquiddick.
Harboring Gerry Studds, and Barney Frank, is a wholly other Democrat party protectorate over sordid abuse, for the sake of celebrating diversity.

#1 - I’m not convinced Stuart Smalley is going out the door until I see the video of him carrying out the last box of his office “stuff.” This is pure political manipulation and chicanery until proven otherwise, IMO.
#2 - The Dems’ expectation of “legislative scholarship” and “policy depth” is central to the discussion for the future. They knew what they were getting when they got behind a non-serious person in the first election. This whole attempt to appear more pure than the emperor’s wife will come to naught because the electorate is so easily manipulated through media messaging. The writer is correct that this can’t be covered up or easily dismissed but it has been proven that they can be convinced to “move on” because “it was just about sex.”
Diaper Boy needs the XXXL size now.
We should also remind liberal women that this “defender of women’s rights” raised $25 million campaign funds from Hollywood celebs.
Franken promptly gave most of it to Democrat (bribes to get these Dem to support his higher political ambitions).
Liberal women need to find out which Democrats are being subsidized by Harvey Weinstein clones.
Of these statements, only the last revelation is new to me. Can't say it comes as a surprise, though.
But when push comes to shove......there's Teddy Kennedys willful negligence in abandoning Mary Jo Kopechne to drown in tide-swept waters on Chappaquidick.
This EXEMPLIFIES Democrats' Me-First attitude......
Securing abortion rights is a liberal's way of saying....." The hell with you, lady. Get an abortion to save me from the nuisance of supporting a child."
Seems as though the Donks want some sort of two week Frankenfuneral...
If Moore wins and isn’t somehow thrown out by the GOP (not sure how they do that), they’ll find a way to say, well if Moore stays, Franken stays.
I don’t think Franken is going anywhere. He left himself a big out. He was getting the women off his public back.
If they Say they support women’s rights, they can DO any damned thing they like.
Correct. He’s not leaving. His non-resignation “resignation” was just a last minute Hail Mary to try to derail Judge Moore’s likely election, and when he is elected, the media will quietly help franktard bury all memory of ever having said anything about leaving.
I don’t think we should let the Democrats get rid of Franken unless a ‘Pubbie is replacing him.
Besides, when Moore wins, he is going to cancel his resignation.
It was a strike on Moore that missed and it was a way to get his own problems with women out of the news.
Exit? What exit? It remains to be seen whether he's going anywhere
