EXCLUSIVE – The man who says he acted as a “go-between” last year to inform Sen. John McCain about the controversial “dossier” containing salacious allegations about then-candidate Donald Trump is speaking out, revealing how the ex-British spy who researched the document helped coordinate its release to the FBI, the media and Capitol Hill.
“My mission was essentially to be a go-between and a messenger, to tell the senator and assistants that such a dossier existed,” Sir Andrew Wood told Fox News in an exclusive interview with senior executive producer Pamela K. Browne.
Fox News spoke to Wood at the 2017 Halifax International Security Forum in Nova Scotia, Canada. As Britain’s ambassador to Moscow from 1995-2000, Wood witnessed the end of Russian President Boris Yeltsin and the rise of Vladimir Putin.
Just after the U.S. presidential election in November 2016, Arizona GOP Sen. McCain spoke at the same security conference. Wood says he was instructed — by former British spy Christopher Steele — to reach out to the senior Republican, whom Wood called “a good man,” about the unverified document.

They knew McCain of course hates Trump and wanted him to lose. So in need of a useful idiot that was a Republican to get the Steele report over to the FBI to try to give their opposition research some legitimacy not as opposition research but as some objective independent investigation that could be introduced to the FBI by a Republican. Had a young , close friend die of brain cancer.
McCain has lived his life. We have no control over what other people do. It’s sometimes hard for me to remember that.
I have been angry at him so many times, now for him and his family I wish him a peaceful passing.
It is clear to me that the FBI took public money to pay for this lying smear. That is the felony of misappropriation of public funds. It is also clear that McCain was part of and conspired to defraud the American people out of that money and should go to prison.
The whole McCain part of the dossier saga stinks.
According to court documents, Steele had 16 different versions\drafts of the dossier.
Comey already had a copy of the dossier (which version ? who knows) in the summer of 2016 and maybe earlier.
How does McCain even need to be involved, on a 12/09/2016 come late to the party hand-off to Comey ?
Why didn’t Comey tell McCain that Comey already had a copy ?

They brought McVain in purely to add the imprimatur of “Senior Republican Senator” asks FBI Director to investigate the dirty dossier.
Then, when Comey does the fake “briefing” of POTUS-elect Trump in early Jan. 2017, they leak to the MSM that FBI has briefed Trump. This is how they provided a pretext for CNN to claim the matter was “newsworthy”and not just a bunch of anonymous unverifiable smears from partisan Democrap oppo research.
And why does there need to be a go-between? Don’t they have secure fax machines? Or are they just being old school for sentimental reasons?
When else are you going to be able to wear a cool hat ,trench coat, and a attaché.

They already had the Dossier. Ohre had already met twice with Fusion people twice by then AND they used it twice to push the FISA warrant. In July then again in Sept/October.
McCain being fed it was to undermine Trump in the Senate.
I'm hearing Ohr's wife worked at Fusion GPS...it doesn't get more collusive than that.
