Glowing Auras and ‘Black Money’: The Pentagon’s Mysterious U.F.O. Program
NYTimes ^ | HELENE COOPER, RALPH BLUMENTHAL and LESLIE KEAN

In the $600 billion annual Defense Department budgets, the $22 million spent on the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program was almost impossible to find.

Which was how the Pentagon wanted it.

For years, the program investigated reports of unidentified flying objects, according to Defense Department officials, interviews with program participants and records obtained by The New York Times. It was run by a military intelligence official, Luis Elizondo, on the fifth floor of the Pentagon’s C Ring, deep within the building’s maze.

The Defense Department has never before acknowledged the existence of the program, which it says it shut down in 2012. But its backers say that, while the Pentagon ended funding for the effort at that time, the program remains in existence. For the past five years, they say, officials with the program have continued to investigate episodes brought to them by service members, while also carrying out their other Defense Department duties.

The shadowy program — parts of it remain classified — began in 2007, and initially it was largely funded at the request of Harry Reid, the Nevada Democrat who was the Senate majority leader at the time and who has long had an interest in space phenomena. Most of the money went to an aerospace research company run by a billionaire entrepreneur and longtime friend of Mr. Reid’s, Robert Bigelow, who is currently working with NASA to produce expandable craft for humans to use in space.

On CBS’s “60 Minutes” in May, Mr. Bigelow said he was “absolutely convinced” that aliens exist and that U.F.O.s have visited Earth.

You have hundred and hundreds of sightings by esteemed individuals (hardly the loon types) and they include
1) airline pilots
2) military pilots
3) military brass as in colonels, generals, etc (not just US but across the world)
4) former presidents
5) common everyday folks
And the list goes on

People see things that they cannot explain or understand. They therefore become Alien spacecraft?

Why are all the photos of these supposed craft ALWAYS blurry or grainy?

When you have full seasoned airline crews who have thousands of hours of flight time between them who see objects flying beyond any speed and maneuvers imaginable I find it hard to believe they saw something they cannot explain. These are corraberating sightings from very reliable sources.

I’m speaking about sightings that do not include photography. Some photos yes are fake as fake gets and some make you think.

Watch a documentary called “Out of the Blue: He definitive Investigation on UFOs.” I think you’d find it very compelling. It includes the mass UFO sighting by thousands in Arizona known as the Phoenix lights, testimony from, sheriffs, other law enforcement, military brass in special programs inside the government as well as the former Arizona Governor who first tried to play off the Phoenix lights but publicly believed what thousands saw on that day was truly a UFO

...and what about those whirl marks in wheat fields? You’re going to tell me those are what’s left over from a Martian lift off?

Look, I am sure that reputable people have seen bizarre things either alone or in groups. That STILL does not mean they’re extraterrestrials.

Remember that film that came out a few years ago purportedly showing postmortems on Aliens being conducted at Roswell in 1947?

Remember?

I saw parts of it and the funniest part was that the surgeons all had disposable surgical gowns, masks and head coverings - something that did not even exist in the Army then.

In the old days there were masks and head caps made from light green, cotton cloth. These gowns were washed at high temperatures and reused.

So, how in the heck did Doctors in 1947 get a hold of garments only invented in the late 1960’s???

Now we know the reason for the program.

I wish the NYT had as much curiosity about Mrs. Bill Clinton’s email crimes as they have about UFOs.

Why are the photos of these supposed craft ALWAYS blurry or grainy?

Because the photos are always taken by a sasquatch?

1759 September 11 & 26

TWO UFO`s FLY OVER FORT TICONDEROGA

``Tuesday the 11. Last night a very bright light appeared in the north and northwest part of the horizon [and] continued most of the night.`` Wednesday the 26. The weather continues very warm and pleasant. Last night in the evening we saw a star as we call them shoot in the air. The appearance was very bright and sparkling and the motion slow. Its course was from north to south about 2 minutes. After it was out of sight we heard a noise as loud as the report of a cannon. We supposed it to be a cannon fired at the head of the lake but upon inquiry there were no cannon fired at the head of the lake [George] or that way – therefore it is generally thought that it was the report of the star we saw.`

Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer gives the story credence with this tweet.

“As I keep telling everyone...the X-Files are a lot more on the mark than the public comprehends...”

I think Reid got beat up by a man or men that he approached with a proposal for homo sex.

That’s my story and I;m sticking to it!

Whatever happened the one thing that everyone has to agree on is that someone gave Harry Reid and intimate and personal beat-down and that no exercise machines are culpable.

Poor Dirtbag Harry, every day he must think on his chastisement and his manhood shrinks a little more each day.

The excersize machine was an innocent red Herring like the video that Hillary and Obama blamed for the Benghazi massacre.

It was a dead giveaway when the democrats didn't start yammering for laws to control exercise machine purchases and require registration of all exercise machines.

Back in the late 80’s i had a friend tell me that he saw a UFO the night before while catfishing on the Charles River here in SE Mass.
I was like sure whatever...
Later that day or the next i had a completely different friend who didn’t know my other buddy tell me the exact same story.
NOW i was a little freaked out.
Both described the UFO the same way, same shape, same movement etc.
Both were convinced the object was neither man-made or natural and that they indeed saw an alien craft.

I believe there is other intelligent life elsewhere. The vastness of the universe is too large a scale to think otherwise. My father also told me he had an experience on his way to work on third shift. He was on his way to General Motors on his motorcycle when he looked up into the sky and saw 4 lights motionless. He stopped and watched as they sat there a good minute. He described them as approximately a couple hundred yards apart in the shape of a square but couldn’t make out an object. All of a sudden the objects went in different directions on perfect lines ; two to the right and two to the left and at a speed that if you blinked you’d miss them and they were gone.

My dad is not an excitable person nor a kook by any stretch. I firmly believe he saw a UFO and he’s convinced he did as well.
