Bye Bye Papa Johns!
Looks like a good time to buy a Papa John’s pizza and then NOT watch a NFL game.
I’d be interested in the recipe. Who doesn’t love good pizza ?
Their pizza is pretty good, but I’ll never buy it again because of this.
Write to them and tell them you’ll no longer support them because Schnatter is out.
The Papa John’s in my neighborhood just went out recently.
Not surprised, we got pizza from there once and it wasn’t very good.
I make pizza from either refrigerated bread dough or a can of dinner rolls, spread out on either a cookie sheet or cake pan - bake the crust and then add the ingredients we like - pepperoni for the kids and men, plain for the girls, with good-quality cheese, sometimes sausage and onions depending on what we have on hand. Husband loves anchovies but no one else does, LOL.
There are NEVER any leftovers and my family asks for my homemade pizza often.
Papa John’s Pizza is okay, but I love homemade pizza. Oh well, I’ll save money but making my pizza...
I bought at 8 in '08 for a retirement hold. Still a Satisfied PZZA Customer.
"Wait, this is all dressed up as a reprisal when it's doesn't look like it to me.Schnatter owns roughly 25% of Papa Johns, and will stay on as chairman after stepping down as CEO in January.
It's as good of an excuse as any, but maintaining his chairmanship ... lol, he probably wanted out as CEO cause that's an actual 9-5 24/7 job. So don't boycott Papa Johns on account of this."

“...following an intense backlash sparked by his criticism of NFL players protesting the National Anthem.”
So is the backlash from fans who support the kneeling players, fans who don’t like Papa John’s association with the NFL or fans that dont like the CEO backtracking on his criticism of NFL leadership?
I’ll never buy another. Pizza is actually pure junk food, slathered in fat, grease, amd salt. Pizza ranks # 1 for the most unhealthy food for dinner.
