Well, since I'm piling on....... Teddy didn't raise the bar, he was the bar that apparently many aspired to. POS in death as in life.

Liberals will call it a pack of lies, as they always do when some one presents evidence that goes against their beliefs. Conservatives on the other hand already dismiss the mythology that surrounds him in particular, & his family as a whole.

And that POS is interred at Arlington National Cemetery, where rest my father, mother, aunt, & uncle, and one day, Lord willing, so will I. The remains of that lying, murderous, traitorous, violent, anti-American Leftist skunk foul the hallowed ground that holds so many of our nation’s honored dead.

I saw one scene in the movie trailer, where a cocky, smug Teddy is trying to justify his murderous actions and is telling one of his handlers (paraphrasing):

Ted Kennedy:"Look at Moses - he was a great leader, a great man. But in a fit of rage he murdered an Egyptian."

Kennedy handler: "Moses never left a dead girl at the bottom of the Red Sea."

About time. They sure put out Watergate major movie releases quickly, but when the shame is targeted at a Democrat they wait until it doesn’t matter.

Remember when Rush identified Mary Jo K as the most influential woman in politics? How true.

Once the movie is out, conservatives need to point out all the Teddy supporters who knew how bad he was.

The trailer shows him crying at one point, and at another he says, "What have I done."

It is total BS that Ted Kennedy ever had the slightest regrets, remorse or pangs of conscience about what happened at Chappaquiddick. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. The only thing he cared about then was how to save his own hide and political future. The only thing he cared about the rest of his life was keeping the Kennedy myths (yes, plural) alive so he could hide behind them.

I'm sure plenty of reprehensible people have been elected to Congress in the course of our country's 230 years, but NONE more so than Edward M. Kennedy.

I remember the no autopsy controversy.
I also believe that Teddy paid Mary Jo’s parents an undisclosed amount of money. And something I recalled at the time. Mary Jo’s mother said that she (Mary Jo) had a serious boy friend. As I recall he was never identified.

In 1970 I was working in Washington D.C. as a summer employee. There were several people in the office that I worked that simple said “Teddy can do no wrong.”

It's worth repeating. They don't realize their weapons are being used against themselves. Back in the day, a movie like this had no chance of getting played on the big screen, let alone being made. Once this movie comes out, the Left will roll out their stale bag of tricks - and get their head handed to themselves in the marketplace of ideas by weaponized Deplorables.

In a great piece by Kurt Schlichter, he nails it:

The Left is getting massively out-Alinskyed, and the hilarious thing is that this band of withered hippies, unemployable millennial safe-space cases, and unlovable + unshaven libfeminists don’t even know it.

The Leftist mafia godmaleidentifyingparents pulling the strings of the Marxist Muppets know the score – they are losing. And it’s awesome. Because, finally, the Right has taken Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals and shoved it up where #TheResistance don’t shine.

Thank you, Andrew Breitbart. You yelled “Follow me!” and led a movement that had previously been dominated by doofy wonks and bow-tied geeks over the top in a glorious bayonet charge against the paper tiger liberal elite.

For Donald Trump and the revitalized conservative movement, Alinsky's book isn’t some dusty old commie tome - it’s a lifestyle.

Best. Election. EVER.

Several years ago, I was having a political discussion with a couple of young ladies who worked in my office (they were in their late 20s/early 30s, liberal Democrats - but we got along fine.) Ted Kennedy’s name came up, and I told them about Chappaquiddick. They were absolutely stunned. They had never heard about this before.

At one time I read very detailed timeline type of info re Chappaquididick - the reason it took him so long to raise the alarm was because of the time he spent trying to talk one of his cousins into saying he was driving. Don’t know whether that is covered in the “new movie”.

I don’t think he accidently killed Mary Jo. I think he deliberately killed one of his pregnant girlfriends.

When you read some of the facts (no underwear on Mary Jo, and then the time gaps,) it looks like the car-over-the-bridge was a cover up for a rape and/or murder, and Kennedy got a way with a hell of a lot more than a slap on the wrist for drunk driving and manslaughter.

I think these kinds of stories are important not just seeing how disgusting dems are, but the nature of the human mind unchecked is always itself the source of suffering and evil. It so happens that the unchecked and hence delusional mind and thinking process tends strongly toward the left ... but the original sin and its close relatives the mortal sins are all delusions of the mind (sin originally means 'to miss the mark,' - i.e. to misperceive and hence mis-act or mis-aim) and if the mind is not tamed, it's a reckless psychopath in most cases.

In other words, the DEFAULT, unchecked state, of the human mind, is that of a psychopath. The exception is the tamed or humbled mind. Most people are somewhere in between, and as a result, human history especially in groups, mobs and big governments - which is just a mob -> tends toward the violent, destructive and as a whole the human race's history, while at times punctuated by clarity and beauty and strength, tends in general to hover around the antics of a psych ward abandoned by the staff.

the cure is not a question of what direction is correct for the powerful to take - what philosophy. It's a question of making sure nobody has much power. In other words ... it's a chronic condition that you manage by giving no one power, maximizing freedom, and hence not letting evil concentrate.

But alas! I wax philosophical. What scumbags the lefties are! :-)

Kennedy has done more to harm this country through the 1965 Immigration Act.

He lied when he said it would not change the ethnic composition of the urban areas.

Just one of his many lies.

The victim herself detailed the attack for Penthouse magazine in 1989, which was summarized by the Washington Times:

“When she put in an appearance in their private retreat - ‘The Teddy Kennedy Fun Room’ - the Massachusetts senator picked her up and heaved her onto a table. The crystal candlesticks and champagne glasses shattered as he grabbed her again and flung her on top of Dodd.

“Then Kennedy threw himself on top of the woman. The waitress implored Mr. Kennedy to ‘Get off me!’

“Another waitress entered to find ‘things all tipped over and Kennedy was on top, [the waitress] was in the middle and Dodd was on the bottom.’ At that point the sandwich was disassembled.”

Not sure that’ll happen, given that virtually every sordid offspring of the Ambassador has proven itself (”it” intended) as a lothsome, low IQ, no morals, POS worthy only of serving as fodder for pigs.

Despite this, the low ability to learn MSM still thinks these single celled brained things are capable of governing. Oh well, guess they are in a liberal government.

We took a trip to the east coast last summer, arriving at Logan Boston. There are tons of banners, not of all three brothers, but of Teddy, all over the airport. A disgusting pig and seditious. My only regret is it’s too early to precut tickets for this film.
