Transparent DOJ and FBI Desperation: New York Times Attempts “Trump Operation” Justification
The Last Refuge - Conservative Treehouse ^ | 12/30/2017 | Sundance

Posted on 12/30/2017 8:20:51 PM PST by mojito

Immediately following confirmation by Senator Lindsey Graham about the origin of the 2016 FBI Counterintelligence Operation against candidate Donald Trump, The New York Times, via Clinton’s favorite voice Maggie Haberman, pushes out an article attempting to cloud, obfuscate and justify the joint FBI and DOJ surveillance operation against Trump.

The timing, content and presentation of the disinformation is transparent in the intended motive. More and more people are recognizing the FBI application to the FISA court was based on political information, the Steele Dossier, assembled by political operatives and used by political operatives within the DOJ National Security Division and FBI Counterintelligence Division.

As such, now the people at risk within the FBI and DOJ attempt to shift the focus away from the political document known as the “Steele Dossier” and toward the useful distraction of a short-term volunteer Trump campaign aide, George Papadopoulos.

This approach, originated by the current sense within the intelligence community, indicates all dossier scrutiny is directly over the target; and the leadership knows the risk. This is why the upper-tier management of the FBI and DOJ have refused prior questions about the Dossier’s use. The DOJ/FBI officials know the outline of how the dossier was assembled implicates them in a verifiable conspiracy.

As to the substance of the NYT justification it is absurd on its face.

Alexander Downer, the Australian diplomat who allegedly alerted American officials to Papadopolous’ “Russians have dirt on Hillary” claim, has documented ties to the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation:

The back-story to the FISA warrant is the cornerstone to expose this entire charade.

Well, Trump undoubtedly has documentation of the FISA back-story: he raided Comeys office and took EVERYTHING.

Despite the hysteria this article created today, it’s important to note that the events in question STILL did not precede the existence of the dossier, or more importantly, even the delivery of the dossier to the FBI, if you believe they didn’t know about it since it’s original conception. Therefore, the NYT attempt to claim that this new info somehow predates the dossier, is actually a failure.

Per the NYT article today:

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/30/us/politics/how-fbi-russia-investigation-began-george-papadopoulos.html?_r=0

“The hacking and the revelation that a member of the Trump campaign may have had inside information about it were driving factors that led the F.B.I. to open an investigation in July 2016 into Russia’s attempts to disrupt the election and whether any of President Trump’s associates conspired.”

Now, compare that to Byron York’s article from last month, which has been considered the most complete piece regarding the dossier timeline:

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/byron-york-did-dossier-trigger-the-trump-russia-probe/article/2640470

“Steele told the left-leaning publication Mother Jones that he took the first part of his dossier to the FBI “near the start of July.”

James Comey, when he was FBI director, told members of the House Intelligence Committee the Trump-Russia investigation began “in late July.”

So the timeline is: The first dossier report was June 20, Steele approached the FBI near the start of July, and the FBI began its investigation in late July.”

Amazing that Democrat constituents who support the Democrat leadership put up with the lies told by the Democrat’s media. One would think that all Democrats would want truthful reporting from their media. Just like the exposure of the evil misogyny of the film & Media industry. Isn’t it healthier to remove individuals from public service who commit criminal acts? Who look the other way at the crimes of their own political party? Republicans already experienced this with Nixon. Now it is time to see if the Democrats have the moral strength to face their own party’s political crimes.

One would think that they would want corruption in the government exposed, prosecuted and punished. Maybe they just rather be told what to believe.

Perhaps they are not real Democrats. Perhaps they are not real Americans either.

Wondering if this “newsflash” was part of the “leaker sting operation” set up by Sessions? Would be hysterical if it was. Man, I read threw all those tweets by Sundance to NYT/Maggie. Dang, but that must have hurt! 🤣

Placing a Story

As discussed on our call, we are all in agreement that the time is right place a story with a friendly journalist in the coming days that positions us a little more transparently while achieving the above goals.
Who:
For something like this, especially in the absence of us teasing things out to others, we feel that it’s important to go with what is safe and what has worked in the past, and to a publication that will reach industry people for recruitment purposes.
We have has a very good relationship with Maggie Haberman of Politico over the last year. We have had her tee up stories for us before and have never been disappointed. While we should have a larger conversation in the near future about a broader strategy for reengaging the beat press that covers HRC, for this we think we can achieve our objective and do the most shaping by going to Maggie.
...................
Just doesn’t get any better about msm collusion with the hard left. Looks like Maggie Haberman was their “go to gal”

That’s a great little park and museum in Ft Smith. We spent a morning there several years ago. IMO, one of the more important places in US history, yet remains relatively unknown compared to other ‘Wild West’ locales.

Graham has now exposed the fact that this "dossier" was the used as the justification for the FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign.

The FBI paid the "dossiers" authors in taxpayer Ca$h.

This is the political scandal of the century.

If Trump has Graham on his side, then the walls are going to fall down soon.

From the article:

What the NYT has in the article is a well constructed and brutally familiar pattern of what journalism looks like when the IC use reporters to cover their tracks and create a justification based on a false premise. The Fusion GPS, Glenn Simpson, Mary Jacoby, Nellie Ohr etc. and subsequent Christopher Steele origin of the FISA application source material is a risk to the former leadership within the DOJ National Security Division and FBI Counterintelligence Division. That’s why both FBI and DOJ sides of this intelligence operation need to create a false origin. The actual FISA application content is a much more explosive risk.

And there it is, in short pants.

The traitor's tent poles are beginning to crack, and they know it.

But here is another observation: if the guilty are really at risk of being exposed, then the Deep State has two choices.

1. Double Down and fight even harder

2. Throw out a few sacrficial victims and move on

Take a look at this cartoon by the brilliant Ben Garrison. His interpretation is largely correct.

The Deep State is vast, and encompasses much, much more than partisan Washington journalists and corrupt low level FBI agents.

If the Deep States recognizes that their tactics to destroy Trump have not only failed, but backfired, I would anticipate that they would shift gears.

Watch for that.

It is a mystery to me how the nytimes gets away with their slanderous operations and why FR allows their damaging articles to appear on this site when so many other good sites are banned.

The UNZ is one of the best at the analysis of the criminal acts of the nytimes and the old media empire and yet it is banned. I don’t get it. The old media is the enemy and the UNZ is the ally.
