You may love chocolate, but you should probably start preparing yourself to say goodbye to it: Scientists at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have predicted that cacao plants are likely to go extinct as early as 2050 due to climate change. But there’s one glimmer hope on the horizon: Mars—the candy company which makes such chocolate treats as the Snickers and the Twix bar—has teamed up with the University of California on a new method that may help save future cacao crops.

You can literally see these guys sitting in their meeting rooms turning their gears trying to come up with new things to be harmed by ‘climate change’ in their projections! Cocoa? This has got to be satire!
Must have been a slow GetTrump day to be trotting out this old shibboleth. I’ve missed it, actually. The “coffee crop is going to fail”, the “chocolate crop is going to fail”, “sun spots will nuke satellite communications”, “the bees are dying”, and “killer bees will kill people” all used to show up at least once a year like clockwork.
And here I thought all these had been permanently retired to focus exclusively on “climate change”/”global warming” and GetTrump. Still, I guess they were too good to simply give up, and so had to be recast as caused by “climate change”, turning them into “twofers” as it were ...
But it’s good for the animal population since chocolate is toxic to them. My cat will be thrilled.

There isn’t s single person living within 500 miles of the Equator because they just can’t handle the deadly heat. It was a tragedy when the 5.6 million people living in Singapore (2 degrees north of the Equator) spontaneously combusted. And at the current rate of “warming” we will meet the same fate in about 10,000 years.
Hey, a large percentage of the world population eat those icky rodents.
