Hope some Gore-bull warming finds you soon. 15 minutes is a long time. Is there somewhere you can duck into for a few minutes?
It was a horrible storm. I remember reading about it in the paper. Not sure but what my hubby was up there with his mom at the time.That’s about the time she had gall bladder surgery.
It has been nearly 8 hours since she was on the egg. I hope we can trust the owls like we can the eagles!
I guess I’ll go for now. I am getting sleepy. I woke up too darn early this morning. Peaches was out and I slept all night without waking up once, and at 8am my eyes popped open and that was it for sleep. LOL!

Speed is a NO when the streets are that slick. But there’s always some fool who’s in a hurry, like the one dogging you this evening. Just glad he didn’t wipe out and take you with him.

Just watching what was going on at the nest was enough to show it w as a nasty storm. I believe there were a couple of threads at FR about it too.
It may be she’s really not ready to start a brood and she’ll let this egg go, like Didi did a little while back when she laid two and didn’t brood them.
She knows what she’s doing.

Well, maybe Altera knows something that we don’t, but it doesn’t look like she’s been back at all. I guess this egg is a false alarm. Bummer.
But she’ll lay and we’ll get to watch those little cuties again before long! It’s just good to know they chose the balcony as their home again!

Well, for what good it will do, Altera is back now, hunkered down on her egg. So nice to see that beautiful bird again.
Ma Berry laid her 2nd egg just after 6:30 this evening.
The new season is rolling along nicely. :-)
Awesome to hear that she’s been on the egg some. I just opened it up and she’s gone. Of course.
Yay for Mama Berry for laying her second eggie! We’re gonna have birdies everywhere before long!
