Rep King Warns Trump: DACA Illegal Aliens Cannot Be Legalized ‘W/out Sacrificing the Rule of Law’

As negotiations are underway between the White House and establishment Republicans to potentially give amnesty to illegal aliens, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is warning the president against such any plan that includes amnesty.

In a post on Sunday, King—a staunch pro-American immigration reformer who has long opposed mass immigration—urged Trump to steer clear of a plan that would begin with giving amnesty to nearly 800,000 illegal aliens shielded from deportation by the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

According to King, such an amnesty deal, even if it is coupled with a plan to reduce legal immigration levels to benefit America’s working and middle class, would cause a surge at the U.S.-Mexico border of illegal aliens while continuing to circumvent the Rule of Law:

King’s assertion that a DACA amnesty would lead to more illegal immigration is readily backed up by border-crossings in November 2017 and the rate of illegal aliens coming to the southern border when Obama was implementing the DACA program.

Between Fiscal Year 2011 and Fiscal Year 2014, the same period when DACA was being implemented, border-crossings nearly tripled as illegal aliens sought to gain the temporary amnesty status that came along with having DACA protection.

Likewise, in November 2017 when Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and establishment Republicans and Democrats endorsed a plan to give amnesty to DACA illegal aliens, border-crossings ticked back up to Obama-era levels, as Breitbart News reported:

It’s all about cementing the George HW Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) in place.
They desperately do not want US to be able to restore the rule of law and reverse the demographic changes they have instituted through non-enforcement of laws and borders.
They invited 30 million people here to change the country against the will of the citizens and they do not want US sending them home.

The final amnesty that would cement the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) into place has been sought repeatedly since 2006. They sold us Rubio to get the last one in 2013.
We have been prevented from electing anyone who would side with US and the rule of law by their control of the RNC and state parties.

The most important thing to the Uniparty is protecting the demographic changes they have made to the country against the will of the citizens.
That’s what drives the NeverTrump, the media and the Democrats hatred of Trump, it is an extension of their hatred of US.

Thirty years ago, President Reagan was promised border security in exchange for signing the Immigration Reform and Control act of 1986. The blandishments they gave him were that our southwest border would be secured.
But as the years went by, we discovered it was a scam, like the Democrats’ 2009 `Affordable’ Care act. There was no `control’, just `reform’. The border has been a sieve for Mexican narco-terrorist cartels running drugs and trafficking in humans.
But they began clamoring for more reform (another amnesty) the middle of the last decade.
They lost.
If Congress wants a promise that the responsible half of the country will consider allowing these illegals to stay, first they give us everything we want—from abolition of chain migration and `birth-right’ citizenship to the building of a wall that runs from San Diego to Harlingen.

If the Mexicans and their lobbies don’t like it, the DACAns can go home and apply to immigrate like everyone else. What is it that makes them think they’re so damned special? GTHOOMC!

I would strongly suggest that as part of any deal, DACAs be permanently ineligible for any forms of public assistance.

My immigrant grandparents were part of the great migration wave of late 19th century. There was no public assistance, so they joined or formed the largest, well-managed network of mutual-aid societies ever. These fraternal organizations provided low-cost life insurance, unemployment insurance, and medical assistance. They offered low-interest, short-term loans to those who fell upon hard times.

Amazingly, they also formed thousands of ethnic-based, parochial schools funded with their own money. Most were part of Catholic parishes also built and funded with their money. I attended one during the 60s. Tuition was paid by the parish and the diocese. There were at least a dozen parish/school institutions. Every ethnic group in my hometown had their own parochial school. Today, sadly there are none.

My grandparents’ generation were poor as poor could be, yet they begat and raised large families without public assistance, and built homes, churches, and schools with whatever they could scrape together. There were no foodstamps-—they made homebread bread everyday, and boiled bones from the butcher shop to make broth. They never considered themselves entitled to anything. Yet, when my grandmother died, my father found a hidden coffee can containing $4,000.

Why can’t today’s poor do the same thing?

We need to enforce our borders. We don’t need INVADERS to give the fingers to our founding fathers and we don’t need Brown Pride morons either. I’m part Puerto Rican, but I’m declaring myself as a Normal American.

DACA is Trump's main negotiating "carrot" to get the Democrats on board. Recall how often Congress has voted for border security (including a wall), e-verify, etc. and yet somehow we never get around to implementing them? Trump can play the same game too.

Get agreement on the Wall, real e-verify enforcement, etc. and "concede" DACA. Immediately build the wall, crack down hard on employers who hire illegals, and vigorously enforce immigration law. Meanwhile the DACA issue gets a "bipartisan blue ribbon panel" to "study and recommend" an "implementation plan" that can be "reviewed" at a later date. This can be slow-walked for at least through the remainder of Trump's two terms. In the mean time the Wall will be built and the real problem will have been solved. By the end, those that haven't self-deported can be considered on an individual basis. There will be no "blanket action".

The left wants the exact opposite: Immediate amnesty with promises of "no more". Sorry, but that's the deal Reagan took in 1986 and Trump isn't going to fall for the same ruse.

And then there's the Cost of illegal immigration and the dreamers. The actual cost of social services, welfare, food stamps, WIC, medical care. . all the programs - I doubt anyone really knows but it's in the billions annually. Then there's the crime. . Books have been written and what is it, something like 30% of our prison population are illegals.

From: http://thehill.com/latino/331619-doj-releases-data-on-incarceration-rates-of-illegal-immigrants

"Of the 45,493 foreign-born inmates in the federal prison system made up of 188,658 inmates, the Justice Department said 3,939 are U.S. citizens." How do you measure the cost of the murders, rapes, and various other crimes, on the victims and their families?

I remember this sign from a 2009 Tea Party rally:

What is the total number of Americans murdered now?

As for the cost of the dreamers:

Deport the dreamers and the 30 million illegal aliens that have invaded our country. The very survival of our Sacred Republic depends on it. We have been overrun and we must act now. Build the wall, crack down on sanctuary cities and actively deport illegals. Go ICE! Call in the National Guard if need be to get this done.

Steve King's tweet: "Congress and President Trump cannot legalize DACAs without sacrificing the Rule of Law and broadcasting a call to come to America to be here for the next amnesty. No matter the “deal” the Rule of Law would fall! (The rule of law fell when we let in the first illegal and nothing was done. We need to get it back for the survival of the USA. It's the Law!)

And John Binder tweet: "Spike in Illegal Immigration Coincides with Talk of DACA Amnesty by GOP Establishment, DHS Secretary."

No to DACA, No to amnesty, deport All illegals now!

Just wait until some taxpayer funded ‘faith’ based charity, files suit against US for dollars promised. Just like that travel ban DACCA will get decided by the judiciary. Taxpayers are charged billions so faith based charities keep their treasuries flush trafficking illegals.

Totally agree. They are actively bringing in the Muslims too. Just ask the people of Minnesota. Your comment reminded me of: Religious 'Charities' Profit from Open Borders Watchdogs ask: 'Is it charity if government pays?'

From the article: "The USCCB is one of nine agencies that receive hundreds of millions in tax dollars to resettle refugees and asylum seekers in the U.S. under contract with the federal government."

What a total mess we are in. And politicians are afraid of being reelected if they take a hard nosed legal stand on these issues. The opposite is true. People will vote for them if they say No to Amnesty, No to DACA, including Trump!
