When charges of racism and xenophobia fail, Democrats fallback argument against President Trumps proposed border wall is that it simply wont work, so why waste billions building it? Tell that to the residents of El Paso, Texas. . . . snip
And crime abated with the reduced human traffic from Juarez, considered one of the most dangerous places in the world due to drug-cartel violence, helping El Paso become one of the safest large cities in America.

The info here makes it kind of hard for your "progressive" friends to sing the Dumbocrat party line.
Enjoy
I remember banging my head a few years ago when Juarez was about the most dangerous city on the planet (certainly the most dangerous in Mexico) and El Paso had like 1 murder - which would be INSANELY LOW for an all-white city of that size anywhere in the world - except that El Paso is 80% Hispanic. Incredible.
This must be making all them fuzzy little liberal heads explode everywhere.
Funny how the Left enjoys using that line of reasoning when it isn't one of their comically useless and wasteful programs?
Racist Trump supporters want a wall to keep out brown people, so that old white men can own 2 or 3 slaves of color...what?
Facts continue to show that Democrats are congenital, serial liars.
Facts are indeed a terrible thing is you lie when you state you position.
Too bad so many citizens are not connected to the facts. Often they just believe whatever was last shouted loudest, usually, by the MSM.
We need to spread the word, person by person so the truth is known. That is how elections are won by our side.
Used to be people went to Juarez to get divorced. Then loose morality came to Texas with so-called no-fault divorce. In my experience, it is usually her fault.
Huh?
Sinatra played Juarez. Steve McQueen died there.
A good article to remember.
I’ve heard of off-topic but this is rid-clous. Sober up!
There have always been open border schmucks here, but I notice there is no where near as many as there once were...
I can remember posting about the border issues and illegal immigration here in about 2005 and being under attack. I posted that when it was their state, county, town, hospital, jail, school that had to deal with it they would understand the problem.
I am sorry that it did get so bad it was impossible for anyone to ignore- but I am glad most people did wake up.
That wall in itself is a racist reaction to a racist myth that does not reflect the reality of this country at all, said Rep. Beto ORourke (D-El Paso).
Sorry you had to go through that. The schmuck I was talking to was in favor of border control but thought Trump’s wall was ridiculous. And he got personal about it, calling me names, etc.
The thread is about El Paso and Juarez.
And Steve McQueen and bad marriages, apparently. Go sober or go home, lol!
This all reminds me of Titus 3:3-6 (NASB) 3 For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. 4 But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, 5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
So many believe it is not true that El Paso has such a low rate of violent crime next door to Juarez. And if you take a look at the violent crime they do have- rarely is it related to border issues. The murders generally turn out to be domestic violence or personal in nature.
I am really familiar with El Paso, all three of my daughters lived there as young adults, one of them still works there. They have lived in various neighborhoods over the years and never did they feel unsafe. I have never felt unsafe in El Paso, we go there all the time, I take the grand kids to activities all over at all hours. Of course like all cities there are areas I avoid but even those areas don’t seem to have the issues you really need to fear.
