According to CNN, 83-year-old Hatch took off his invisibility cloak glasses during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing with Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen. Hatch seamlessly placed his spectacles next to him while continuing to speak in the committee hearing.
The gif of Hatch raced its way across the Internet and people couldnt get enough of it.

I grabbed the bill, flung the hat to him and watched my brand new Oakleys fly off into the lake.
Meah...wait till he takes his false choppers out and places them in a glass of water.
Just an oversight on his part.
“I am on the grammar and mattress tag citizens police force.”
OH! You must be one of my secret deputies! ;-)
You should always wear your nose.
I put mine on a chain for a while. Then I stopped that. And the next time I let my glasses fall onto the non-existent chain, they fell to the floor. Even I had to laugh.
Over my life, I have often gone to put a pair of glasses on over sunglasses or reading glasses, or went to push non-existent glasses up the bridge of my nose, and even gone to remove glasses that weren’t on, but...I have never gone to remove glasses that weren’t on and put them on the table or in a glass case.
That DOES sound a bit like a senior moment.
I have done that also, a little scary. But not as bad as calling your daughter in law and realize you are entering her number on the microwave. Fortunately that was 10 to 12 years ago. Lol.
“In what state did Romney vote in the 2016 election cycle?”
This is old, but it makes you wonder. Doesn’t look like he’s lived in MA since he left the governor’s office there. Someone should run this down, but as he does own a big spread in Park City, UT, I just imagine it’s not hard for him to claim residency there. Anyway, he appears to be a bigger carpetbagger than Hitlary.

That’s nothing. Senator Ted Kennedy was known to walk around in invisible trousers.
I agree Hatch was GOPe but he did on occasion do the right thing
Utah GOP is worthless as tits on a boar
We were at the zoo one day when my girlfriend was a nanny. She yelled out, where’s Ethan? a couple of times, panic rising in her voice a little bit.
She was holding his hand.
Quite comical, the little lad was looking up at her, not saying a word, with a quizzical expression.
In my early twenties, I used to work for an old Scottish guy with a beard and gray, stringy hair, and he had this huge lab he had built and was a very smart guy.
He wore threadbare button up sweaters, and up to three pairs of glasses hanging from his neck on lengths of string or yarn tied haphazardly to the temple pieces.
One were little granny looking glasses, another looked like trifocals, and another looked like regular ones.
I thought it was unusual, but as I get older, I find I have two pairs of bifocals, four different strengths, and none of them seem to focus on what I need, and I just as often end up taking my glasses off and squinting.
I think I kind of understand that man now.
Hatch will NEVER see 63 again. He passed that ramp many years ago.
Either that or his vision isn’t that bad.
THAT would be a whopper.
THAT would say a lot of bad things, and none of them good!
So have I. ....gulp....
