Or, as they would say at the law school, in the alternative, she could be a Democrat.<<<

In the alternative....I bet she has voted in every election since she 1st registered....unbeknown to her of course...

Big trouble along the Canadian border

Meanwhile, From Canada...

Submitted by Jim Quinn via The Burning Platform blog,

The flood of Trump-fearing American liberals sneaking across the border into Canada has intensified in the past week.

The Republican presidential campaign is prompting an exodus among left-leaning Americans who fear they’ll soon be required to hunt, pray, pay taxes, and live according to the Constitution.

Canadian border residents say it’s not uncommon to see dozens of sociology professors, liberal arts majors, global-warming activists, and “green” energy proponents crossing their fields at night.

“I went out to milk the cows the other day, and there was a Hollywood producer huddled in the barn,” said southern Manitoba farmer Red Greenfield, whose acreage borders North Dakota. “He was cold, exhausted and hungry, and begged me for a latte and some free-range chicken.

When I said I didn’t have any, he left before I even got a chance to show him my screenplay, eh?”

In an effort to stop the illegal aliens, Greenfield erected higher fences, but the liberals scaled them. He then installed loudspeakers that blared Rush Limbaugh across the fields, but they just stuck their fingers in their ears and kept coming. Officials are particularly concerned about smugglers who meet liberals just south of the border, pack them into electric cars, and drive them across the border, where they are simply left to fend for themselves after the battery dies.

“A lot of these people are not prepared for our rugged conditions,” an Alberta border patrolman said. “I found one carload without a single bottle of Perrier water, or any gemelli with shrimp and arugula. All they had was a nice little Napa Valley cabernet and some kale chips.

When liberals are caught, they’re sent back across the border, often wailing that they fear persecution from Trump high-hairers.

Rumors are circulating about plans being made to build re-education camps where liberals will be forced to drink domestic beer, study the Constitution, and find jobs that actually contribute to the economy.

In recent days, liberals have turned to ingenious ways of crossing the border. Some have been disguised as senior citizens taking a bus trip to buy cheap Canadian prescription drugs. After catching a half-dozen young vegans in blue-hair wig disguises, Canadian immigration authorities began stopping buses and quizzing the supposed senior citizens about Perry Como and Rosemary Clooney to prove that they were alive in the ’50s. “If they can’t identify the accordion player on The Lawrence Welk Show, we become very suspicious about their age,” an official said.

Canadian citizens have complained that the illegal immigrants are creating an organic-broccoli shortage, are buying up all the Barbara Streisand CD’s, and are overloading the internet while downloading jazzercise apps to their cell phones.

“I really feel sorry for American liberals, but the Canadian economy just can’t support them,” an Ottawa resident said.“After all, how many art-history majors does one country need?

My sister says the best workers and sharpest nurses she works with are from Nigeria... better even than native born Americans in terms of maturity, responsibility and even the English language.
They don’t waste time or ignore patients while playing with essential oils diffusers, and they are conservative and proud of having citizenship here.
The reason they are so well-educated is that they attended English-style schools and studied hard because they seriously want to improve the lives of their families back home who saved everything they had to get them through school and over here legally.
And they are royally ticked off at illegal immigrants being allowed to cut in line, and are not fond of Islam because they have seen it first hand.
So some Africans off the boat are more than capable of making it here and assimilating, but I’d suggest that applies mostly to those who were schooled in English style schools the way these were, people who want freedom to succeed and are not looking to milk the system.

Absolutely great observations about the Nigerian nurses who were schooled in English/British-styled schools. I also suspect that many of them are Christians which would explain how they have a more orderly view of history and human development.

Nigeria is unfortunately an ethnic cesspool of both tribalism and religious intolerance (almost totally by the Moslems, despite Boko Harum devastating their villages including those of Moslems as well as Christians).

I went to graduate school with a Minister of Biafra. He was emotionally torn by what was happening to his people/region, and it looks like it’s going to happen again.

Interestingly, when I later worked at the World Bank, we had a truly international team (my officemate was Liberian, and a computer whiz) - Brazil, India, Liberia, etc. These were the best of those countries, and were mostly assigned her, but they were decent, hardworking people who liked America and Americans.

That is hope, but it’s going to take a long time for “Darkest Africa” to see the light of real freedom and tolerance.

The liberal drum beat is that everyone is exactly the same except for a different paint job. The facts say otherwise.

That was the old drum beat. it died soon after MLK. The modern liberal drum beat (if that's not cultural appropriation in itself) is that races are fundamentally different -- and that the black and brown ones are fundamentally better.

I agree with some of your post..........

Have met plenty of Nigerian Health Care workers.....RN's, and RT's..

Some are great...some are not.

They speak English well enough....no worries there.

But IMO...first hand experience...with RN's..or RT's..some are not the best or the sharpest..and are not top rate..as you detail.

And I've no idea what you are talking about when you say this...."while playing with essential oils diffusers"?????

A great thing Donald Trump might be able to do would be to promote missions (at least rhetorically).

It’s needed as badly as in earlier centuries.

I believe Donald if he says he didn’t say “shithole.” But he wouldn’t need to. He could say “squalid place.”

I was a delegate at the State Republican Party of Texas convention in 2010 and I saw a drunk-looking hobo taking a poo right near the light rail tracks outside the convention center. I was part horrified, part mesmerized, and totally howling with laughter. That dude could not have cared less that he was pooping in public.

That was one of the most memorable things from the convention, lol.

It’s a fallacy that people can create a sane environment from the ground up by means of mere native intelligence. This chart would be relevant if my cats didn’t know how to use a litter box. Imagine how they score.

The problem is not weak minds but weak morals.

Humanity’s mind cannot be summed up merely as the IQ of modern psychologal tests. There is also an SQ if we may call it that, a spiritual quotient.

Unlike a high IQ, a high SQ won’t necessarily tend to train itself the right way. It may gorge itself on wickedness.

Missions to the people of hue in America are as needed and salutary as those to those people elsewhere. When a good black church “gets off the ground” without becoming a temple of Caesar, it can do amazing things.

I love watching college basketball. When the commentators do player profiles and the name is Nigerian, the player is often already in grad school or law school...and is frequently from Houston, I’ve noticed (I’m elsewhere in Texas, so am watching Big 12 games...lots of Texans). There must be a relatively significant Nigerian population there in Houston...and those kids work HARD.

In the not so third world land of Ecuador, but a few years ago, moral standards aren’t much different than the writer found in Senagal decades ago.

I was in a little town outside Quito, to help a small Christian school. When driven through the town, I marveled that each of the homes had a very tall wall all around each and each wall had some kind of “glittering decoration” on top.

Later, upon closer inspection, I found that the “glittering decoration” was nothing more than broken bottles with their jagged edges pointing up and out and had been cemented into the wall structure! A kind of poor man’s razor wire, if you will.

Inside each wall were at least one but usually two or more vicious-sounding dogs, who prowled on top of those walls, viciously snarling if someone came too close!

One neighbor to the home where I was lodged, walked to work each day, pulling a cow with a rope tied around its neck, only to return pulling the same cow when he returned home.

On the third day of noticing the man walking along pulling a cow, I finally asked a friend from the school, why the guy kept doing that, and was told the man was merely protecting himself from having his cow stolen by a neighbor!

There is a kind of wickedness so bad it “rejoices in iniquity.” That somehow, stealing is a feat to boast in rather than a shame to avoid.

It is driven by believing in the voices of hell.
