So a few psychiatrists want the U.S.A. to recede in fear before brutal foreign despots, until those despots have built up their nuclear weapons forces enough to feel that they can completely destroy our country. They’re not building up to simply scare us. They intend to use those weapons—first, one or two of the smaller nations, then the larger ones following on.

Those psychiatrists are lacking in knowledge about variations between people in thought patterns. Maybe they are idealizing with a belief that all people think the same. Or maybe they enjoyed pestering other children and inviting disasters, when they were children.
