After months of delay, the Trump administration is finalizing plans to revamp the nations military command for defensive and offensive cyber operations in hopes of intensifying Americas ability to wage cyberwar against the Islamic State group and other foes, according to U.S. officials.

Here is what is really interesting about this. The US cyber command is under the military, rather than under the NSA. From my understanding, it is under Admiral Rogers, who we know is loyal to president Trump.
This us cyber command would have all of the intelligence that the NSA would have, except it would be isolated from the NSA. What is interesting, is it immediately after the Cyber command went live, president Trump appeared with a large group of military leaders and declared we were in The Calm before the storm.
I think you can all put two and two together.

This is good news. You want departments that are loyal to you.
The National Security Agency is military.

As in other areas there will be conflict between the defensive command trying to close vulnerabilities and the offensive side wanting vulnerabilities left unreported and left open.
