After WWII I cannot understand Leftist Jews.
Bush the Elder was a Globalist.
Mike Pence is not.
I understand your view, agree to a point. I’ve known and worked for great leaders who were good men.
“Very good. Very good.”
I think the best summary of my thoughts there, is that I am going to have to reserve my position on Pence to a later date.
There are a lot of things I like about him. I’m just not sure about the top slot. Being directed by Trump is a lot better than him on his own.
Having said that, I don’t have anything to point to. I’m not trying to drive others away from him. I’m just having to go into support for him alone, with both eyes wide open.
I’ve only mentioned his, because early on, I want everyone to keep an eye on him and make a very accurate and informed decision.
I agree about Bush the elder. Sadly, I think along the same lines with G.W.
Pence is much more conservative than Trump whereas Bush the elder was much more liberal than Reagan. So I don’t think Pence will wash away Trump’s legacy if Pence wins. That’s not the problem.
Trump has the kind of street smarts that will allow him to be a two term president—and hand off to Pence.
The real question is —does Pence have the kind of street smarts it takes to battle the MSM and win.
No one has any insights on this as yet. We’ll see.
Your street smarts comment is crucial for me. We must have that.
My problem is that I have not known Pence that well. Since he was nominated for V.P., and running with Trump, I have liked what I have seen.
I still have this void that I can’t quantify. I do need to read up on him more. I’ll try to do so this week and next.
As for being a good man, I could have gone the Carson route if that was my only goal. I viewed Carson as a soft spoken man too willing to take a punch and not return it.
As president, you can’t be the better man. You have to scrap for every inch. That’s another way of saying what you did about Pence > IMO.
I’m not sure Carson was savvy enough to see globalists for who they are. I think Pence is a bit more savvy there, but I don’t know if he’s savvy enough.
One of the things I admire about Pence, is his policy on meetings without his wife. It’s a great policy.
Now, does this flag a guy who wants to be the consummate Christian, and that may conflict with what needs to take place as president at times? I don’t know.
I am very pro-Christian, but Carson was a concern to me. Pence may be a concern too.
We have years to go. I’m certainly not anti-Pence at this point at all. I just want to ask the right questions for myself, and this is what I’ve been thinking.
Thanks for weighing in on it.
Neither can I, including my family.
Yep - Pence stays in the background but when he is in the public eye, he 100% supports trump and his policies...couldn’t ask for better from a Veep.
I believe that, and his is informed, thoughtful and projects very well.
