I agree. I recall Nikki Haley’s response to Obama, supposedly presenting the GOP’s answer in which, iirc, she used indirect slurs against Trump and no criticism of O.
Evidently, she just decided to book herself on some channel, and she doesn't care if she has the blessing of the DNC brass...which apparently now has chosen the Kennedy Klansman to deliver the official response.

That’s an innovation that makes the weapon less simple. Rarely a good idea, IMO. It will become more apparent how these innovations hold up after a few decades.
