It's my opinion that this article is one of the most important pieces of writing we'll see this decade. I have been struggling with this nagging dread, even as Trump is doing his herculean best to pull us from the brink economically and politically. Culturally, however, the failure in education, family, religion of sustaining their credibility within our society is doing potentially permanent damage to us as a nation.

This should be all anybody is talking about.

We aren't talking about this at all.

It's a 6 minute read, and likely will help you capture that feeling in your gut like it may already be too late.

We aren’t talking about it because it was stopped one year ago.

Had Hitlery won, it would have already taken place.

If you still have that dread now, you’re not paying attention.

Not ready to give up on the great experiment just yet. The American left can’t outlast true American values. It is my considered opinion that this current move toward Marxism will end up bringing about its own demise within the next 10 years or so, as real Americans begin to see their rights and freedoms threatened.

I don’t share this doom and gloom, education must be fixed.. that’s the real long term threat.

Freedom without constraint of expected societal behavior becomes anarchy. This is where diversity and protected classes are slowly destroying the nation.

The train has already left the station. Your quote above is more than likely deemed racist and homophobic by more than 50% of our country. No, I am not kidding. Sad isn’t it.

I just scanned the link (very) quickly and for some reason this bit jumped out:

Yet those once poor countries are making great strides.
Costa Ricans now have higher life expectancy than Americans — because they have public healthcare.
American life expectancy is falling, unlike nearly anywhere else in the world, save the UK — because it doesn’t.

Granted, I'm not up on worldwide mortality rates, but that sounds like something written by a socialist.
Will probably still read the whole thing later, but given the above, it will be with a skeptical eye.

So....Haque thinks things will be hugely improved by Single Payer Healthcare, huh.

I’m wondering:

WHERE is he FROM...?

And why is he HERE and not that other place...?

Just a "gloom and doom" piece which overlooks all the wonderful, amazing and liberating possibilities that could occur if a once-free people, going about their individual business, overseeing their limited-powers government, and insisting that every elected and appointed government post be filled with individuals who love and respect law, order, and freedom through adherence to their Constitution's provisions.

Demographics is destiny.

BOTH parties have been changing the demographics against the will of the citizens through non-enforcement of our law and borders.
Unless we halt that, the demise is inevitable.

The observations and conclusions in the first two of five points are... specious... Let’s take the first one... what exactly is a school shooting? The seems particularly vague by the article’s standard.

Take Jesus out, and what do you expect? Flourishing society? Good will towards others? Rule of law?

You get Canaan. In stereo.

We earned this. So drink.

I don’t argue against his reasoning(except public healcare).

I believe what explains America’s mass shootings, ophyiod epidemic along with countless other crisis that have afflicted the Untied States is surprising.

It’s because we are told we are.....suppose to “HAPPY”

We have told ourselves that we are unique little snowflakes who not only expect to be happy and successful in ALL our endeavors and desires and when it doesn’t happen....immediately... We throw a tantrum.

Whether it is through drugs, alcohol, sex or through a scope on top of a tall building, we want what we demand... whether we desire it or not.

The era of instant gratification, instant success, instant potatoes have formed our way of life... and it’s killing us!

Dumb article: author doesn’t know the situation and suggests incorrect remedies. The most prominent example: American life expectancy started falling in 2015 with the implementation of Obamacare. The authors soluton? Socialized medicine.

The writer is describing what one would see if Romans 1 were playing itself out in a culture. People turn away from God, and God lets them do it.

In the end, people reach bottom, and there is either revival, overthrow or disappearance of the whole country.

No country in history has been able to avoid this downward curve and its inevitable terminus.
