Messing with the FBI? Trump doesn’t know history [direct threat]
Washington Post ^ | 2/1/18 | Eugene Robinson

Presidents don’t win fights with the FBI. Donald Trump apparently wants to learn this lesson the hard way.

Most presidents have had the sense not to bully the FBI by defaming its leaders and — ridiculously — painting its agents as leftist political hacks. Most members of Congress have also understood how unwise it would be to pull such stunts. But Trump and his hapless henchmen on Capitol Hill, led by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), have chosen the wrong enemy. History strongly suggests they will be sorry.

(snip)

Trump and his minions seem to think they can out-leak the FBI. Obviously they haven’t been paying attention.

I don’t think they’re threatening violence. Their style is more like coercion or blackmail of some kind.

“If indeed the FBI is more powerful than a duly elected president...”

It’s not. Trump has the Marines and 101st Airborne. In a battle, the FBI wouldn’t last 30 minutes.

Your 20 - 7th picture down is Sammy, the first victim at Ruby Ridge. Little guy at 13, shot in the back as he was trying to run home from the Federal Marshal who shot his dog. Then the FBI came and shot his Mom and Dad. Their killer was whisked safely away by the FBI when the county prosecutor indicted him for murder and has never been called to account.

So yeah, I sort of have a dislike for the FBI.

Obviously they haven’t been paying attention.

Eugene is a bigger fool than I thought, President Trump pays attention to everything.

Hope you’re right, Jim.
Just feels like this is headin’ toward a real rocky road.
Shapin’ up to be an ‘interesting’ year ahead.

Exactly. As soon as I saw the headline I said this is the WP and its handlers threatening the well being of the president of the united states. I guess they don’t realize that a headline like this is further discrediting the FBI. Fools.
I am not clicking the link. I don’t intentionally click on WP links.

I bet his articles are written by the DNC.

I hope you're right sergeantdave.

I watched every minute of the SOTU and I got misty-eyed watching a REAL LEADER give a great speach! It also made me realize what a bunch of limp dicks we have for leaders here in Oz.

God bless America and God bless President Trump!

The stuck hog squeals the loudest.

If the left, democrat leaders, and the media (I repeat myself) really thought the memo was nothing, a huge mistake that would blow up in the republican’s (especially Trump) faces, they’d be daring them to release it. They’d then prove it was false and laugh all the way to the November election. So one must wonder why the Post (publishers of the Pentagon Papers) is so uncurious about the content of the memo yet so certain that average Americans shouldn’t be allowed to see it.

The Post says “Democracy dies in darkness”, unless President Trump has the flashlight, then they become Kevin Bacon’s ROTC character screaming “ALL IS WELL”, in spite of the events unfolding around them.

A member of the holier than Jesus press is recommending a president buckle to extortion from an agency he oversees?

OR

Is conveying the extortion in the form of a (not) veiled threat?

Jeez Whiz, that’s gotta be one heck of a memo, eh?

Normally it would be a threat but Robinson is just a member of the Democrat cult and he’s panicking hard. They all are.

On the flip side, Hoover, Paul Rico. John Connelly.
