Less than 24 hours after hoisting the Lombardi Trophy into the air in Minneapolis, the total number of Philadelphia Eagles players who said they won’t visit the White House if the team is invited for the ceremonial championship visit rose to three.
Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins— a prominent voice the past two seasons in NFL player protests of police brutality and social injustice— told CNN Monday that he will not attend the White House if President Donald Trump was to extend the invitation.

I would counsel the President to invite no individual or organization to the White House that has in any way criticized him or his agenda. Why offer such an opportunity for the enemy to further their own agenda?
Why invite any of them? The taxpayers don’t need the cost and the government needs to work on much more important matters.

I predict Long & Smith will not be Eagles by training camp. I think they squeezed the last good bit of football out of Long. And Smith’s position (speed receiver) needs an upgrade.

I would love to be part of this honor and to represent the American People. As long as the winning NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles, also considers this invitation an honor to their hard work and successful season on the part of the American People, who are represented by their President, I herewith extend the invitation to come to the White House for some celebration and congratulations.”

My oldest daughter always has a Super Bowl Party, and they did have a party yesterday- had all the food but went horseback riding and did not watch the game.
