When asked if then-FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe told the Intel Committee behind closed doors that if not for the Steele dossier no FISA warrant would have been issued, he said that was taken "out of context" and that those were "not his exact words." He called the dossier "largely accurate."

Release the transcript of the relevant part of McCabe's testimony and settle it once and for all.

If they had verified intelligence, why did they use a Yahoo News story to support the dossier? Why did they use the dossier at all, knowing that it was Clinton campaign opposition research?

And if they are concerned about revealing sources and methods, shouldn’t they be concerned that a former British spy had co-opted their sources and methods?

This is a FISA warrant and has a higher (supposedly) standard for granted a warrant.

McCabe was either saying:
1) The FBI wouldn’t have submitted the FISA application if it hadn’t been for the dossier, or
2) The FISC wouldn’t have approved the warrant without the dossier.

And that improves their argument how?
